Holy shit, I just found...

I was looking for my dexadrine (parents hide it) under my parents bed and I found a box. I open the box and find a couple bottles of pills my dad takes and a box of pills called Zithromax. I flip it over and the prescription label says my name, but the box has never been opened. I looked zithromax up and it's for the treatment of STDs and some other bacterial infections.....of which I have none. Why would my parents have this??? :confused: It's definately for me, and I just don't get it. :rolleyes:

I know there's people online right now! lol...does anyone have a theory?

I'm thinking that they're thinking I'm gonna get an STD....and thats just fucked up, lol.

Obviously your dad is ordering STD medication for his own condition and having it made out in your name to divert attention from himself, especially if your drug use is well known outside of the family...

Wow you think so? The doctor who prescribed it (Dr. Hanlon) is a good friend of my dads...that is just fucked up

Thats fucked up i would confront him about it and ask what his problem is.

dont freak out now. i have two boxes of zithromax stored just in case i get sick. no i dont have a STD! its the best lil drug for kicking a sickness around. whenever i get sick for the past 5 years every doc has prescribed it to me so dont assume anything :)

It it may also be considered an invasion of your fathers privacy if you tell a person on the outside the details.

Thena gain if it's in your name you should know about it, especailly if the perscription is yours.

Mabe confront whichever parent is the most reasonable, make sure your prepared to defend yourelf, who knows. I don't know your parents.

I don't imply you should do what i am posting, only that this is my perspective on the issue, for whatever i know.

That sounds possible, especially since the doctor is a friend of your dads.. Maybe your dad has something, but doesn't want his friend to know so he told him it was for you?

That's actually a logical explanation...I don't want to ask my dad about it just in case he doesn't want me to know (if it's for him). Twas odd though.

It could be one of a few things. Either there could be some STD that passes from parrents to child during birth and youve always had it but the symtoms have yet to shown. In this case its fucked up they havent told you yet. 2. The pills could have some secret intoxicating feeling (not saying any of your parrents pop pills). or 3. your right, they think your going to get an STD eventually....but then why just that one type of med?

the doc gives that to my kids when there sick and god knows they dont have STD's there only 6,4,3,and 2 lol. So most likely sumome was sick. I dont hink i have ever heard of that bein used for STD's til just now when i read this.:confused:

Ok, that would be really fucked up if it was true. I'd fucking kill my parents if they told me that...but somehow I doubt that will happen lol.

yeah like Ammie said, maybe the medicine casn be used for other stuff, too? Like, maybe its a type of antibiotic or something, that CAN be used to treat certain STD's but doesnt necessarily mean that anyone has an STD

very true alot of meds have many different uses. They are used for so many things. Like for instance when i was pregnant with my daughter i went into early labor. The doctor gave me a high blood pressure medication to stop the contractions,and it work. Even tho the med wasnt ment to se used for that after it was out they found a new use for it. Im sure the same is true with all meds. anyways im ramblin :D
