Native Americans basically do whatever they want, and are pretty hot;)
but as for law, I have no idea but pretty sure they do illegal or not
i dont know about smoking pot
but the town in Oklahoma that my
mom grew up in has Native Americans
that are allowed to use peyote in religeous
ceremonies. but personally i think since
they were here first we have no right
to tell them what they can and can't
put in THEIR bodies...
and sally D! dont forget that!
From what I understand, it is perfectly o.k. on their reservations.
and live in Washington state, we have a million reserves....Quote:

it's legal here, (NJ)..
this question intrigued me so I did a little search... For the most part the search brought up the the marijuana laws are governed by the state and apply to the reservations,,,but the lack of police enforcement has made Reservations a primary source to trafficers... so I would say it is ilegal but,,,you have a much better chance of getting away with it...
I was taught that Native Americans govern themselves. They are bound by most of the laws all other Americans are, but have their own judicial system for crimes commited by their people on their land. I also learned the use of cannabis was allowed for the purpose of religious ritual.Quote:
