Being High around people who dont toke.

Being high around people who dont toke is a horrible thing, mostly, most of my friends are straight edges. and if i smoke and then go up to ther houses it always a weird experience. there always kinda pissed at me, like i fucking did something to them. And it wuld b fun if they wer cool, cuz sometimes i get lonely when im high alone, but its rare for me to get lonely, but sometimes i just wanna chill with some friends.

so yesterday, im chillin after school and decide to toke but first i call my friend jeremy who drinks all the time and gets drunk all time but refuses to toke, so anyway i called him and was like u wanna hang? and he did...so i toke about 4 bowls of some nug, and i was feelin very very high, so i walk on up to jeremys house, and i walk in and we sit down. and we chill for about 10 mins, and im close to him and he grabs me and smells my shirt, and goes were u smoking, and i was like yeah, he was like ur fucking dousche. i was actin a lil high nothing to obvious. so i left that scene in about 20 mins cuz i didnt feel like gettin shit for the next couple of hours. and i came home and enjoyed myself. but it pissed me off either way.

one time i also came to school high and some of my friends wer pissed, i dont get it.....its not like im gunna get them in trouble.

has this happen to u people ever???

your friends are being so corny. tell them to chill out b/c your blazing doesnt effect them. just tell them that you're just trying to live your life and have a good time and not to judge you and to try to have a good time themselves.

i think straightedge kids just wanna look out for their friends well being...
its that or theyre being arrogant about the fact they dont do any drugs...one straight edge kid i went to a show with was telling my friend to drink a few beers instead of smoke weed lol...coercing him to do alc instead of weed lol because i guess he saw drinking a few beers to be less of a big deal than smoking a few bowls...but he in no way acted pissed around the kids who were doing it it was like hes doing his thing they were doing theirs and they were all cool with one another...

people shouldnt pass judgement...its when yer being a menace to society that i can see them doing it and having a reason but from what you describe they were just getting pissed at you because you did it...but you werent pissing people off/annoying people...you were just high...who gives

yes this happens to me all the fucking time..... espically with ppl who are alcoholics... I even had people tell me why do you smoke such a horrible thing.. why dont you get drunk with us... i felt like fucking slapping the person. but when i acutally find a sober person who dosent mind if i smoke he has my upmost respect... Ive lost so many friends just because I said "I smoke weed" its fucking ridicilious..... that for some reason alcohol and cigs are just not considered bad at all in normal ppl i dont fucking understand it..

Well I think every one is different... because when I am high I can ski pretty dam well... I can also drive high comfaterably also.... but other ppl may not be the same... but seriously when I smoke and go skiing I really do ski better because I am more chilled out and I am not so scared of falling... but i think alot of this contributes to mental tolerance over the years of smoking that eventually you learn to handle your self better in situations you should be sober in. I just saying if i were to ever skateboard you can tell dam well I gonna be on that skateboard blazing a nug :stoned: lol

I have a friend who drinks and smokes prime times quite often, we used to have some good times smoking up but after like 10 times he stopped and now he says he'll never do it again. Sometimes when i'm baked at school he'll like look at me disappointedly which pisses me off. Maybe he'll come around eventually.:jointsmile:

i can identify with all that shit dudew. i used to be into drinking a lot but stopped once i saw how much it fucks your life up but all my friends still booze and some dont like weed. every time imwith them blazin i get hella uneasy and hate it. thats why i always make it priority to smoke with cool ass peole. its all about who you blaze with !!

I snowboard great, and skateboard fine, While high i do it that much better... You must think about it that much. If i think about stuff, then i mess up..

Compared to half the people here my friends are the best people to get blazed with, theres 2 of us who smoke and 2 of them drink, but the 2 who drink have like tried weed, it's just that they was telling me that they are a bit scared in case they have bad side effects to it, but this Friday my mates having a party and people said they going to get stoned with me, that i thought would never ever touch the stuff, man it's going to be amazing this Friday, shit load of beer, a load of weed and a load of food and all my mates, man I'm so looking forward to it lol :jointsmile: :jointsmile:

i hate it more when my non-toking friends will take a hit off of my blunt or sumthing and it doesnt effect them at all...and then they go "see i could control my high but your acting like a retard" and they say it dead seriously...thats when i stopped talking to them.

Thats just you though, every bodys different when it comes to coordination when puffed, personaly I know people that suck at skating unless there blitzed it makes it way easier for them.

darkhorse, I totally feel you man. same thing for me most of the time. I got a few friends who blaze too, but the majority look on it like its the worst thing you could ever do.

It bothers me that people around my city (where 9/10 ppl at my school drink) think drinking is perfectly normal but blazing will destroy you forever. yur rite, ppl need to be educated

Yeah I know how you feel, in high school I stopped smoking for about a year becuase the people I was around thought it was bad, and I regret ever quitting once I started agian. I think people who dont smoke just need to lay off becuase they dont know what its like. Perfect example: people say smoking impares your driving, I smoke like an 8th while crusing and people around me drive like major dumb asses and I, who is stoned as hell, obey the speed limit, use my turn signal, and look before changing lanes.

at my school, practically EVERYONE smokes except the jesus kids and the uberpreps, or they don't give a rats ass what you do. I don't drink, and I don't pop. But for me, it's the FUNNIEST thing to be high around people who aren't, although at my school I have a different problem but the same idea. People get mad at you for smoking WITHOUT them where I'm at.

I hate those who pass judgement and don't have their facts straight. Alcohol consumption is more harmful to your body than modest cannabis use.

Not to mention the thousands upon thousands of lives alcohol has taken from drunk drivers and their victims in addition to the many millions more who struggle with alcoholism.

I don't have anything against alcohol, but I rarely drink and would toke up before drinking any day of the week.

If my friend grabbed my shirt I would beat the kids ass, and then show him how much cannabis is healthier for you than alcohal (Sp). Hes just the typical D.A.R.E. kid whos trying to look kool by trying to do what the anti-drug corporations want, and that is to embarass and humiliate the typical pothead. makes me a little sick actually....

just only let your friends know. Im a senior in high school and i am the head of the video announcements every morning at school so alot of people know me but only like 60 people know i toke but they're all cool with it cause when i hang out with them and they're not high i can think of things different and say really funny things and so they think its cool. Happens all the time. My friends all smoke weed but most of them only a couple times a month. When we all go out skating i usually like to toke a bit with two of my other friends at spots. of course when we come back we get the normal shit from them "have fun smoking ooooo" trying to act like idiots and fuck with us cause they think we cant function cause we're high. all were tryin to do is smoke and relax but the burns gotta burn that shit up with there retarded antics. just gotta ignore that stuff.

If your friends being a strait up dick to you cause you smoke tell them to research it a little before they critisize you about it, especially if they drink.

They only critisize because they never did it. If you get some herb into their food they'll be smokin on the daily.

yea man i hate those kind of people, although i do think that if you're going round to someone elses house you should tell them if you're gonna smoke. Their parents might be in, girlfriend etc and they might not like it.

These days ive been smoking by myself a lot, because other people never want to get high except for parties which i prefer to drink at anyway. ( if im high at parties i usually just sit back somewhere, but if im drunk i will be up around dancing, whatever)
