Short notice 4/20 Get Together (Vancouver)

Hey all, I was wondering if I planned a Cann.com meet in Vancouver for the end of the week of 420, how many people would be interested..

I checked on expedia, and for a round trip with hotel for 4 days from New York it would be anywhere from 500$-603$ (if booked together)

If we were to go, we would need a few locals, as most of us americans don't have many bud hook-ups in BC.. Anyways, I thought it would be a fun idea, and a good opportunity for us north american cannacom users to meet and have a good time.


Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.


(If I don't get that many people interested then we can scrap the 4/20 plans, and postpone a meet for later on)

No doubt Vancouver is going to be hoppin on 4/20. There are many organizations, pro-pot organizations in the area and no doubt joints and weed will be sold openly in parks and such. In large gatherings I'd assume. Vancouver is pretty pot friendly and on 4/20 the cops will just sit there and make sure every thing is under control. For anyone who goes, I'm sure your in for a good time.

cops are gonna be a fucking bitch here in America this year. I don't think I'm going to even smoke up on 4/20. I know, what the hell is wrong with me? But it just dosn't seem worth it, idk I haven't made up my mind. This'll be my first 4/20 since I started smoking weed too.

That's exactly why i'm planning on going to BC 420.. lol

I'll still probably end up going with some school friends, but it doesn't seem like theres much interest here on the boards.. oh well! :rastasmoke:

dont give up...there are a lot of us here who live in bc, myself included...

what if we move this to the travel section? think that would help?

i hope it comes together for you....canada is awesome, and bc is just beautiful..not a better place on earth to spend your 420....
