ive wondered that for awhile now, and though it seems apparent that they would have ive never really seen any evidence at all of it.

Dude. Of course they did. They're Pink fucking Floyd. They constantly had booze, weed, and acid all on hand, or in hand if you prefer. They were the Cottonmouth Kings of the '60s and '70s.
LOL. Yes The kottonmouth kings with skill.
ahahahahahahahahahah
Roger hardly did anything, he just stood there, played the bass. The real brains of the group was Syd Barret. He was replaced by David Guilmour a little after Dave joined the band. Syd had to leave due to his drug problems. After the main writer left, Roger bassically took over, he done good
Syd Barret lost the plot after taking too much LSD
Shine on Sid (RIP)
Yes, ofcourse they blazed, like it's been said:
They're Pink fucking Floyd! :D
you can tell they smoked weed just by listening to their music
nothing like listening to comftably numb while ur baked off your nut :stoned:
Syd Barrett, perhaps the others, but not Roger Waters.
Comfortably Numb wasn't about being baked, it was inspired when he was given tranquilizers for hepatitis before a show.
Does a bear poop in the woods?
Is the Pope catholic?
Is this Cann.com or what???????
YES to all
Just a little pin prick
There'll be no more aaaaaaaah!
But you may feel a little sick
Can you stand up?
I do believe it's working, good
That'll keep you going through the show
Come on it's time to go.
Roger Waters wrote the lyrics. While many people thought the song is about drugs, Waters claims it is not. The lyrics are about what he felt like as a child when he was sick with a fever. As an adult, he got that feeling again sometimes, entering a state of delirium, where he felt detached from reality.
In a radio interview around 1980 with Jim Ladd from KLOS in Los Angeles, Waters said part of the song is about the time he got hepatitis but didn't know it. Pink Floyd had to do a show that night in Philadelphia, and the doctor Roger saw gave him a sedative to help the pain, thinking it was a stomach disorder. At the show, Roger's hands were numb "like two toy balloons." He was unable to focus, but also realized the fans didn't care because they were so busy screaming, hence "comfortably" numb. He said most of The Wall is about alienation between the audience and band
that is a pretty dumb question lol but what i mean is were they heavy smokers? towards the end of their carreer, i know they were erlier on for sure.
that kottonmouth kings analogy was awful. they try to play the we smoke so we are cool card. pink floyd just smoked tripped and wrote music and didnt have to tell everyone, "hey we smoke, like us, weed is cool so we are cool." nothing could make that lame ass band seem cool if you ask me
They wrote songs high, they sang them high, they played them high...
and that's why all of their songs are so inspirational
pink floyd will always be a legendary band

I know I heard somewhere about David Gilmour doing Coke, and obviously Syd Barret, but besides that I've surprisingly heard little Floyd-based drug tales.
Saying Floyd is the Kottonmouth Kings of the 70s is rediculous they dont even sound slightly alike. Kotton mouth songs dont even have any dramatic lines or meaning they just sing about weed and smoking which gets old fastQuote:

Pink Floyd is the name of the band, not a person. I guarantee they all did alot of drugs. If you think that they wrote that stuff while sober you have to be retarded
obviously someone's never seen "live at pompeii" there's video evidence!
the answer is no.
