Pink floyds dark side of the moon with special emphisis on the song TIME.
I want to be cremated, and at the height of everyones mourning as I am publically placed in the incinerator over the P.A. system id like them to play "Buuuuurrrrrnnn baby buuuuuuurn" (you know by the trammps)
any flogging molly cd. every time theres a funeral in my family somehow it always ends up with everybody getting freakin A wasted. at my funeral i'll get the mick bastards ready for boozin.
christ illusion, slayer.
awesome, itd give the priest a heart attack,
cemetary gates would be pretty awesome when their putting me in the ground though
The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Electric Ladyland
Most definitely a custom CD. It'd have some sad songs and some happy ones. Gotta' love them mixed emotions.
Vulgar Display of Power
the fresh prince on belair theme song
idk never thought bout this, but the song "ill be missin you" by p diddy, the tribute to biggie smalls... thats a good song for death..
idk about albums but i hope they play the song Great waves by Dirty Three
my initial thoughts after first hearing the song were "What a great song to die to", kinda even scared me a little.
Only God Can Judge Me - 2pac
Marooned by Pink Floyd, as my coffin's being lowered into the ground. That's when I'll smash through and begin life as a flesh-hungry zombie!!!

probably some cd made by me
with some chill out rap music on
Neutral Milk Hotel - In An Aeroplane Over The Sea
The album is perfect for my funeral, from the first line of the opening track "When you were young, you were the king of carrot flowers, and how you built a tower tumbling through the trees, and holy rattlesnakes that fell all around your feet..."
to the most amazing closing lyrics of an album "and retire, to sheets safe and clean.......but don't hate her....when she gets up, to leave."
The whole album is cativating. When you hear those last lines the moment becomes somber in amazement, for a moment, you feel your heart fall to your stomach.
ate the moment im really liking common - BE
just got this album back
my younger auntie and i discussed sumthin like this this before shes going to play Thugz Mansion(Tupac) at mine and im going to play Tha Crossroads(Bone Thugs-N-Harmony) at hers whoeveer dies first
has to be a mixed CD
"i'll be missing you" is a great one also
probably a cd of pretty much these songs an a buncha tupac
A Tout Le Monde - Megadeth
Thrash Metal ftw. Plus, meaningful lyrics at funeral = good.
lysergic funeral procession by down and jesus saves by slayer.
Nah the REALLY good stuff is buried deep in the anthology boxed set. But yeah, they are the greatest studio band ever.Quote:

Since I would rather just be buried at sea... the sound of gulls and the ocean is plenty.
No Crispi funeral , therefore no music .
Ppl. I call my friends are around now -n- hang . No need to just come around cause i'm dead . Mrs. Crispis been instructed to finish cremating me and save her damn money for logical things like the future . LOL .
Peace
Crispi
i seen a thread like this once and someone answered; Darude- Sandstorm, on a continous loop. for some reason that cracked me up and everytime i hear that song or see a funeral i imagine sandstorm playing. a wake, not a funeral.
I would want Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here"... a real tear jerker.... Then My Chemical Romance's "Cancer"...
Finish with Foo Fighter's "Everlong" to lift the Spirits...
Full album? Probably Radiohead's masterpiece "OK Computer". Or to keep things a little lighter, Bob Marley and the Wailers "Uprising".
But there are a few tracks from various artists that I would love to be played.
mischief brew- songs from under the sink
Twiztid-Freak Show
there's a few tracks on there I can just listen to forever. I would love to force people to sit through something differant for once. . .
