So I was breaking up a nug to smoke in my bong and the nug had these rock salt sized white pieces of stuff in it. About 3 pieces total. The chunks are white and crystally and pretty much disinegrate if you crumble them. Don't really smell like anything, and I don't want to taste it. None of the other nugs of the bunch have any similar white chunks. The big one has texture to it, it isn't round or square.

It's probably Perlite or Vermiculite. It's a common, cheap soil medium growers use. Finding small pieces is sometimes common is mass produced crops. It's hard to maintain every single bud cropped, so some pieces get caught here and there.
Nothing to worry about. Just remove it and carry on smoking. :)
like fertilizer?
No, not fertilizer. It's a mixture they add into the soil to make the soil lighter. It makes the water easier to soak into, and the soil won't be as hard, which can make roots weak as they can't push through the dense soil, so they use perlite or vermiculite to lighten the soil up.
It's propbably not great to smoke, but it isn't a fert. :)
