I picked the 'ugly' one so long as she isnt 'ugly' as in fat... I can deal with other imperfections as long as they arent too bad... No messed up teeth, weird skin conditions, horrendous vaginal odor, crazy ass birth marks, and shit like that... But if she is just a little plain but great to be around I would go for it.

I dont know, I suppose im lucky. From ages 11-13 I was pretty ugly and since at the time I couldnt rely on my looks I became funny and quite intelligent. Now however I suppose i'm considered hot and I STILL have the other good features. When your with a girl who has been hot all her life your missing out. Those girls are usually the girls who are bitches and feed off drama.

Luckily with age all that shit went away (I still wear glasses, but finally found a frame style that has that sexy librarian thing going on) and the good humor stayed.
I think it's very true what the studies have shown about the compliments that a child receives influencing their learning/development... especially in girls... that a girl who is very pretty always hears how pretty she is, and focuses on BEING pretty, and a girl who is always complimented by her relatives for saying smart shit, or being hard working- whatever she sees as what people are impressed by will be a major force in developing her personality.
And a girl who has always been told how pretty she is... well, I'm glad I wasn't... I'm not hung up on my looks at ALL... and even though I am certainly not a skinny hot chick, I wear a size 12-14 but look solid rather than flabby, I have a pretty good body image. I guess I can thank my schoolteacher mother for pushing me to be a little smarty-pants rather than a pageant princess!
That's funny, because I thought I was ugly. Looking back on old pics, I looked exactly like I do now. I think I thought I was ugly because I was a little biracial girl in a world full of blue eyed blondes.

Well honestly I would much rather date a nice girl. But I'll admit I do have standards. But a pretty girl who is nice is not hard to find, a smoking hot girl who is nice is. But, everyone has flaws. I'd rather my lady be not be perfect and be very nice then be smoking hot and be a bitch. Also, sometimes, when you really love a girl, her flaws are sexy, it shows she's human.
