invasion of privacy... the f***ing cockroach

ok so it was all a normal day in grade 10 highschool until my phone gets taken away, he then gives the phone to the principal (the teacher handed it to him at his break) my idiotic fucked up prinicipal decides to look through all my pictures,videos and contacts on my phone.

calls me in shows me the videos of our drunkin fun (and high fun) and tells him he will have to inform my mom i tell him to suck it, that what he is doin is wrong ovcourse it dont make a difference, when these principals get on their powertrips they dont stop. Not only this but he snoops around on my myspace and tells me i have a bunch of drug dealers in my phone book (which i obviosly knew, i kinda sell here n there) he also found a video fight so now my buddys gonna get in shit for fighting cuz this teacher snoops around my shit. im just wondering if he can do this. I mean thats my personal stuff on my phone its not for jus any old faggot to look at. He called my mom and told me how im hanging around the wrong people n all this bullshit

I don't think he is allowed to do that....I don't know what I'd do but i'd probably bring attention to the issue.

No, they shouldn't have went through your phone, but he did, so learn from this lesson and don't make that mistake again. :)

Once you are registered in their school, they own you, and if you were playing with your phone during class, then they have that right to take it away, but going through your phone is going a step further that I don't agree with.

Oh well, lesson learned. :)

dude you are right, he shouldn't have went through your shit.. it's none of his damn buisness, but now it's done and there's not awhole lot you can do about it. i mean even if you were to get a lawyer and make a case outta it (the only thing you could do at this point) you were still in school... schools have alot of fucked up rules and shit...

believe it or not, school is kidna like prison... you aren't automaticly granted every last right you get outside of the property... you're now on their turf... and they have their own rules ontop of the general rules of being outside either...

I would just let this go though. It's not a big deal IMO. You didn't get suspended, you got your phone back, doesn't sound like mom is too mad, so who cares.

I would get his ass out of there. This happened at my school with a teacher messing with a phone he is fired and getting fined big time. This is why I always take out my phones batery if its taken away.

I worked for people once and they asked me if I would go to their house and do a job... I later found out that the house was rigged with hidden cameras and they did this with all the employee... They basically tested to see if people would go through their stuff and steal... I did the job and minded my own business... The moral of this story is you don't shit where you eat...

same thing happened to me simple solution if ur cell isnt a peice of shit u can put a password on the pics/videos then when the teacher fuckhead goes to look at ur shit they need the password.. ive pissed off lots wit that :D

I know a lot of high school kids who think its totally chill to just smoke in a park at like 8pm, or blast music while they are illegally parked on the golf course and smoking, and they act like they don't understand why they have been caught by the cops many times.

I mean, come on, you are only in tenth grade. Your parents, though it may not be ehtically right, can still legally search anything they want of yours, including your phone, and can easily find your Myspace. What do you expect when you publicly tout the fact that you drink and smoke in a medium where you can be easily identified (unlike these forums)?

He shouldn't have invaded your privacy but you set yourself up for a fall. Every classroom I've ever been in had a clock on the wall. Next time check that if you need to know the time. The only thing you need to worry about is if he calls the cops for the beating video, especially if anyone in it is identifiable.

..anyway i was gonna say what he did was wrong, but i think he had the right to do it due to the youre in school certain rights go away, especially he had a right if youve been in drug related trouble before...sorta like over the top probable cause...for example how did he know those certain contacts of yours were 'drug dealers'...im guessing he knew that because he probably did the same bullshit he did to you to them...or they have been in drug related trouble before...

im for rights to privacy i just think something bad happened to you and you should either do something about it if its possible, or let it go...let it just fade away..
