I NEED SOME ADVICE PLEASE HELP!!

SO THIS IS THE STORY....
MY DAD WENT IN MY CAR TODAY AND FOUND MY PIPE
I TRIED EXPLAINING THAT WEED ISNT AS BAD AS HE THINKS IT IS
I TOLD HIM THAT WEED IS ONLY GATEWAY DRUG BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT MAKES IT
HE SAID THAT HE WOULD GIVE ME THE PIPE BACK IF I GAVE HIM MY CAR KEYS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO...I`M 16 AND ABOUT TO TURN 17...I THINK THAT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SMOKE WEED AS LONG AS I`M NOT STUPID ABOUT IT....I NEED SOME ADIVICE...PLEASE HELP ME EXPLAIN TO MY DAD THAT WEED IS NOT BAD....:rastasmoke:

he might not ever, you can't force him to accept something if he's not willing to consider the facts. Some parent just don't understand man, but I'm sure he just wants the best for you. First mj could create legal problems for you if you get caught, and second, you're lucky your old man did't take you keys right off the bat. as a matter of fact, he gave you a choice, car or weed...you choose man. People do know that alcohol kills, but since it is approved by our government, it makes it no longer immoral. :rolleyes:

Compared to alcohol and tobacco, (which are legal) cannabis is a lot safer then both, even combined. Like you already know, those drugs kill while cannabis does NOT. The reasons behind cannabis' illegailty in the united states if mostly due to corrupt officials spreading bias propaganda (reefer madness) There is no good reason why cannabis is illegal today, not when alchol and tobacco continue to kill hundreds of thousands of people a year. Why are these drugs socially acceptable again? Oh yeah, capitalism =/

I don't know what your dad's main arguements are: Probably that you could get into trouble legally, like i said research more about the hypocrisy of why it is illegal. Welcome to Jack Herer's Home on the Web. Read it, learn it, share it. Show to your dad that you can be responsible with your cannabis use and try to keep up your grades if you're not already.
