Anyone seen this white, crystally substance?

I picked up an 1/8th today from someone I never went through before. While I was picking it apart, I noticed some non green stuff at the bottom of the bag. There were three very small fragments of this crystally rock type substance. It doesn't have a distinctive smell, it just smells like the rest of the bag. It feels kind of like rock candy, but it's an off white color and easily broken. Anyone ever gotten anything like this in their bags? It almost looks like kief and crystals that formed into a rock like form.

I tried taking a picture but my camera can't focus on something so small, each piece is about half the size of a seed. Any input before I smoke em? :D

You think it's mold? I picked apart the entire bag and the bud looked perfect, some of the best I've bought in a while. There was just these three little pieces sitting on the bottom.

Don't smoke it, it's probably grit.

He's thinking it could be grit weed. Pick some of it up with your finger and then put it on your tongue and try to bite on it. if it feels like you're chewing on sand, it could be 'grit', and thus you should not smoke it.

since you don't live in uk (unless you get your bud shipped from uk) the whole grit thing is kinda unlikely... i'm as stumped as you are.

Grit's not just a UK thing, it's an "I buy weed from people I've never seen before" thing.

it has been seeming to make it's way to the us... but this crap originated from the uk... (or atleast that's where nearly all the reports when it first started happening, came from)

which is why i said it's unlikely it's grit weed unless he's in uk, not impossible, just unlikely... i haven't heard too many (actually i can't remember any) of us residents experiencing this...

well... little WHITE crystally substances isn't shit you really get with weed o.0 (there are crystals on good weed, but i'd call them more clear or transparent, and even then it'd be all over the weed, not just a few peices in the bottom of a bag.. you also couldn't easily break it, it'd just kinda smear and it's definately not like little rocks lol)

This was the best I could get with my camera, that red squiggly is a little hair, and it's taken on top of a plastic bottle cap to give you a size perspective.

what does it taste like?...

The smoke tasted perfectly normal, with a little organic aftertaste.

The actual crystal tastes like paper.

looks like sugar, did you taste it? might even be a lace. take care, it will burn black if its sugar or a chem. just examine first.

Yeah ATDI was my entire junior high. I still remember the night when I was on mp3.com (back when it was good) and saw the feature on 'ATDI members form new band'. They had Drunkship and Roulette Dares on there, I must have listened to those songs about 100 times each until the album came out.

Anyways, I just tossed it and haven't thought about it since. It didn't affect my bud as far as I can tell.

Might have been poorly broken up crack or maybe moist meth. No matter what, that didn't naturally come off of your buds.

White and crumbly? It's just some perlite or vermiculite. It's a soil medium growers add to their soil to lighten up the soil. It's not a fert., but just an additive. Just remove it and smoke it.

I always get a laugh when someone finds anything white and crystally and calls it crack. "It must be crack, I know it is" :rolleyes: That is one in a million chance of happening, and by the looks of many threads here with under 100,000 members, I find it funny that a lot of new tokers are finding crack in their bags.

So no, it's not crack. Perlite or vermiculite commonly gets stuck in mass produced harvests, commonly commerical grown.

hardly gonna be a class A addictive substance in a baggie of weed is it, do u know how much crack sells at per gram and how much grass is per gram, no comparison is there, no chance of being crack!
