Ganja Brings People Together

It really does....

In 8th grade my best friend was this metal head named Jim. We were pretty damn tight...we did everything together...Not to mention he lived down the street. At that time we were not into any kind of drugs. So the end of Middle School Came then came 9th grade. In 9th grade I barely ever talked to Jim. He seemed to find a new group of friend, and a lot of them were druggies. But that wasn't why I was mad at him, it was because he just completely stopped being my friend.

So then 10th grade came along (the grade I'm in now) and I started to get into smoking the herb myself, and I knew Jim smoked a lot of herb and did a lot of psychadelics. So this last friday my other friend from the start (who also smoked the herb) called me up. It was to ask me if I wanted to smoke and hang with Jim. I was not about to pass this oppurtunity up to smoke with a long lost friend.

So it was just a good day....smoked a lot of pretty dank stuff and then we all took a walk all over the area. We talked a lot about how it used to be and what happened to our friendship. Needless to say he opened up on the weed and was so "I missed you guys sooooo much"

That's my story....and now we're friends again.

Thats happened with me too. A good friend of mine and I stopped hanging out when we stopped skating, we would hang out maybe once a month to go skate and chill. It was still all good. One time i saw him out and about and we smoked a bowl out of his piece on the side of the road. I didnt get too geeked, but after that bowl we started hanging out again. :D

Kinda like mine, a while ago me and thiis kid named Alex HATED eat other, we came so close to fighting a bunch but our friends stopped us, But then he started smokin' herb, (i always have) and then i dunno what happened... i stopped hating him : P miracle! And now we hang out at least once a week. is cool

That's awesome man! Herb, bringing family and friends together since 2000 B.C. :D

Good to hear man. I actually met my dads childhood friend a month ago, brought together by love for this random ass restuarant.

haha yea i had that, middle school came, and a lot of my friends were all into rap and the whole "wigger" thing, while i was the rock/metal kid. then toward the middle or end of 8th grade, i started smoking, and by 9th grade, all of my old elementary school friends blazed and i became mad tight with them again.

same with me man. the crew i would chill with at shcool would be all preppy rap and hip hop kids listening to underground rap and atmosphere and shit. i was always saying hellno rap is cRAP. but i always had these two friends who were into the same kinda music i was into. metal! but they didnt hang out with the crew i did at lunch so i would only chill with them afterschool. needless to say in the middle of freshmen year everyone in my crew started smoking and they looked to me as the "stoner kid" so eventually all of my friends would smoke together. it was a good bonding moment with everyone

Happened to me too, didn't speak to my friend for a year after he left m y school, then out of the blue I just decide to call him up, couple of weeks later were just like we used to be but now we have weed :D

I agree with all on the post with Ganja bringing folks together, resolving problems and beign the peace maker at the Geneva Convention.

I myself had an "etisoppo" experience where I thought someone was there for me during some real fucked up times in my life, due to our common grounds and deep thoughts on various ideas, subjects and all that implies. I finally found out he was only there to smoke my Ganj. He was good and had the best personality and was a dear person to be around. When push came to shove and I finally had to move on, the whole experience changed. Again I reiterate, all that implies from the previous sentence. There were other factors involved in the mess of the whole thing, but this was definately one of them. So although it may bring battles to a slow or even null and maybe repair broken aspects of folks relationships both personal and professional. I don't agree that weed is the fixer of all problems. Although if we had to say that in a percent. it's only like .1% and I do think weed does help in keeping things cool and very broad in retrospect and helps folks with a deeper thought of things as opposed to most folks who are real narrow minded. (I should know, I'm still a tad narrow minded myself and smok'n keeps me in good form to listen and really think about things.)

I find that being upfront and real about shit in general keeps it right with folks. Even if there are misunderstandings, it still takes one person to start by actually trying to make it right. Hell, I've got a twin sister who judged me based on past experiences in my life and tried to hold that against my life today. She's totally in the wrong and I couldn't care less if she came around or not. Never thought I would be that way with one of my own siblings, but I felt strong in my convictions. I sent her an e-mail at least wishing her a Happy Birthday. I'm the one who called her out on her bullshit and my feeling is that she needs to apologize and rethink the things she said to me.

The weed helps keep me cool and together, but doesn't resolve the problem at hand. We'll eventually make up in time. Even if she smoked, it wouldn't change what we know happend. It would just mellow us out so we don't come at each other like a couple raging mountain back gorillas and hopefully allow us to tap a little deeper into ourselves to realize our wrongs, forgive the error and smoke some good weed. Hmmm friends. Let's all go smoke em peace pipe.

I'm frikin high now and it doesn't change how I feel. It just keeps me cool.
I respect folks views on things and I'd probably jump up and down with this irish attitude of mine in good political debate if I weren't high, and that wouldn't solve anything.

The weed keeps me in the right. Keeps me level headed to a degree. But then again, I've smoked that killer shit that just wastes my mind. I usually find I prefer being alone when I'm on that level 10 high. Ugh, thug hav hard time talky talk when that high.

Not being a buz kill, just saw the post. Had a thought on my mind and figured I'd put my two bitz in. Probably just to off load the thought from the archives of my brain and make more room for more important worries like when is someone is going to change my diaper. :wtf:

Yeah, I hear ya! I talked to this kid online for like 6 months a few years ago, nerd stuff like Lord of the Rings and stuff. Lost contact with him.

I go over to my friend's house the other day, and this kid is sitting on the couch- my friends introduce me, and he's like "You're... _____! OMG. I'm ______!" and we were both smoking a nice deep bowl. CRAZY! I gave him 1/16oz of my stuff just 'cause it was so nice to actually meet the guy. Crazy!
