FIRED !! for gross misconduct (weed related)

so i went back to my current job for an apointment refering me talking about marijuana at work to other people as soon as i sit down the enployer said " im not trying to be a dick but your fired" i was like what the fuck ? you are fireing me for talking to someone who was extremely comfotable talking about the subject (marijuana) and you fire me for that ? and further more why didnt you fire the other person i was talking to ? he just glanced at me with a smirk..

the other guy started the conversation therefor why the fuck is this being put on me.. ? im so pissed right now.. the fucker asked me how much thc is on a male plant.. this broke out into a big conversation and i guess some dick was easdropping ? and ratted me out..

anyways what do i do from here ? anyone know ? can i take this to cort or prosicute this in any way just to clear my name ?

plz help i have no job and only $100 to support me till i find a new 1 :(

If you were there for 6 months or more you could be able to get unemployment..........usually they like to see warnings before termination.

Hmm, you may be SOL. It's allways up to the owner/manager when it comes to drugs. Ususally a drug free workplace is mentioned several times in documents, so it's no problem canning you for discussing drugs.
Simply talking about it is probably not an issue, but if you were discussing it loud enough for someone to hear, there's gonna be concern on the managers part.
It's BS, but that's life. An unreasonable boss is gonna fire you at some point or another anyway.

On a side note, what do you do (where do you work)? If you were in the service industry, then I can understand what happened. If you work in a rock quarry or something then your boss is a complete douche.

Either your lieing or your manager fucked up. You have to be coached atleast twice to be fired from walmart for non criminal conduct. Just call up the district manager or head office and deny it to hell. Throw around words like "discrimination". Trust me , in walmart theirs always someone higher. Who fired you store manager or night crew manager.

My husband's friend was a manager at a convenience store. Here's what happened:

Manager: "You need to get motivated."
Worker: "I do my job."
Manager: "Not really. I'll tell you what. If you get your ass motivated and work hard tonight, I'll smoke you up after work."

Manager reports later that "you have never seen anybody work harder in your entire life".

Manager gets fired. Employee gets fired. Business closes about a month later.

That's what you get for interfering in personal business!

I am fully aware of the very very bad and unethical HR policies that walmart has.
They regularly discriminate against women in hiring/promotions/raises.
Ther products are often made by grossly underpaid laborers.
