anti-gravity/lung

Okay so i cant take a pic of it at the moment but i will soon and post.But this is how to make one.

WHAT YOU NEED:
1. 1-2 litter bottle
2. sisors
3. bag(a bread bag is fine)
4. a ruber band
5. a bowl
6. a string

Simply take the bottle and cut the bottom off

Take the bag and close one end off(if not already)
use the string and tie it around the closed end

the end the is open place around the bottom of the cut bottle
and place a rubber band around it

then inhale and make sure no holes and it goes into the bottle correctly

then make a whole for a bowl on the cap
and put hte cap back on

light itup and pull the string untill bottle fill up

then simply take cap off and enjoy :p

A very crude smoking device very similar in concept to the Bucket/GravityBong or a waterfall designed for smoking cannabis.
As cannabis is not water soluble and nicotine (+ many other none cannabinoids) is it is advisable to always smoke cannabis by pulling it through water. In many situations this is not available (prison , outdoors etc) and the user has to turn to something like a Lung to get the job done.

The action of manually inflating the lung draws large amounts of air into the the plastic bottle filling the plastic bag. The smoker then has to remove the head (ouch its hot >.< ) and attempt to suck the entire contents of the bag into their lungs.
(though it can be operated by a single person by attaching the bottom of the bag to the floor or by standing on it)
Because of the the amount of smoke inside the bag is very large the user has to breath in very deeply to empty the bag in one go. This has the added effect of drawing smoke into parts of the lungs that normal smoking doesnt necessarily reach which results in a much higher level of THC absorption that a user is may be used to. Also the deep breathing can cause a certain amount of hyperventilation raising the users blood pressure making them somewhat dizzy. Put those together with the fact that most people using a lung are 'smoking noobs' and have a very low tolerance to THC in the first place the end result is usually an extremely potent high.
I have no idea what breathing the burning plastic made by the hot ashes from the head hitting the inside of the plastic bag as its inflated does to your lungs O_o.

That is the point... the 'Lung' has got to be one of the dumbest smoking devices ever conceived. Its not water cooled/filtered ,inhaling burning plastic is VERY bad and hyperventilation is very likely to make you pass out which could cause injury/fire if you are operating it on your own (like the one in hemp 69's description).
Whats the point in us trying to tell the whole world smoking cannabis is safe if people are then going to find health damaging ways to take the stuff just because it seems a

I've used a Lung before and it was okay, but I prefer the Bucket bong over the lung. They're both the same thing, and no, I didn't inhale burning plastic.

a lung def doesnt burn plastic , i just smoked out of one last week. but i most def prefer a water filtered device , like a bong or a bubbler

A Lung is not the same as a doing a bucket.
- THC is not WATER soluble.
- A number of other Non-Psychoactive chemicals from cannabis are water soluble
- Nicotine IS water soluble.
- When smoke comes in contact with water is is cleaned.

a bucket bong isn't a very effective way of using water to clean smoke but its better than nothing + any hot embers that fall though the gauze... (and there's always some) are instantly put out. You might only get a few tiny little sparks once in a while while using a lung but that stuff builds up over time as you body has no way to absorb it once it is embedded into the lining of your lungs. Eventually you will have large areas of lungs that will cease to function because you have more plastic in there than lungs :)
If anything this means ya gonna have to smoke more to get wasted... this is not good.

I just think you guys need to be a little more responsible when suggesting 'good' ways for people to take their drugs.

The 'Lung Method' even with the plastic taken out of the picture is still a very bad idea. Because none of the ash can escape you are inhaling large chunks of very dense carbonised plant matter. Any other way of smoking weed (spliff,bucket bong etc) the ash is either absorbed into the water or flicked off the end of ya spliff.
Because of the high volume of air you have to inhale to clear the bag it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to absorb much of the THC contained in the smoke.
The 'Buzz' is caused mostly by the hyperventilation when doing the thing in the first place. You cannot dilute concentrated smoke with a large quality of air and expect to get a better hit that if you had used less air ;)

- so to get a better hit ... less air.

* but that means hotter smoke and more embers...

The Lung would only be a bigger hit if you put more weed in the head than the bong. No ones mentioned any amounts. Which means the sole basis for your antithesis is nothing more than the imaginary pictures in your head?!
So if you are unhappy with them ... change them!

well for one i have a bowl that doesnt ash into the bag cuz there is a screen and nothng goes thro expect smoke
i dont get people
its a safe way if you dont be stupid and eat the stuff
but other than that no plastic gets burned
and the smoke just fills and clears

I smoke from my waterfall and im not a big fan of inhaling plastic, thanks.

The WaterFall is a great method when its done right. When the water has drained out as far as the hole do you then shake the bottle?
