Bowl,Stuff or What? Im new to this....

Hi Guys...Im new here. I have some questions and hope I can get the answers..

I have been able the get some stuff in the ole park downtown in the NYC....Usually the stuff has been decent. Half way good buzz. Usually toke about bestween 5 and ten times in a wood pipe or a little plastic pipe....well that was before yesterday

Snagged a new glass bowl and some stuff for about 50...Got the snizzshitt home and tried it out. Usually I feel a nice buzz, but this was a bit different. I got wacked!! Only was able to do 3 or 4...and got a pretty big headache for some reason. No the stuff smells a lot stronger then previous stuff, so im assuming I got some more potent stuff. The high was not a real good one, although I felt it.

What was it....good stuff, the bowl hit being stronger or what? Im only gonna do 1 or 2 tonight instead...maybe its to strong. Never happend before, then again Ive only got the stuff no0 more then 5 times all togethr int he city. My buddy used to get me some stuff. This stuff I got smells strong....a good odor...

i find that when testing out a new piece you get even more fucked up than usual cause you arent used to the hits it produces

It sounds like you don't smoke too often. You take 5-10 hits and you get a nice buzz? 5 hits from my bowl and I am high as the satellites man I think you need to get some better stuff and stop hittin from the plastic pipe xD.

the 5 or 10 tokes is over peroid of time..

Like 2 or 3 then again in about an hour or so....

Oh...well honestly I mean we are all different and have our own ways of doing things so this is just my opinion..I think you should take like 5 to 10 hits at one time and try to hold it for a decent amount of time like 5 secs or so. I think if you're gonna pay any money for dried flowers that you could have grown free for your self you should get as high as you can lol.

Lol well I'm thinking you have a standard glass bowl since you said you bought one. I don't think glass bowl sizes get too much bigger than mines. I don't know how big your bowl is but I'm saying if it's anything like mine 5 will set you straight. Here is mine.

Just look at it like this, you're gonna have to get super high one day so you might as well get used to it so when you get smoked out with some people you don't trip out and have a panic attack or something lol. And I don't know how long you've been smoking but when I first started using bowls I didn't know this so I'm just saying just incase you don't know. While you are lighting bowl, hold the carb (hole on side) and inhale and when the pipe looks cloudy from all the smoke let go and inhale it all and don't cough lol. Hold it in and let it go..fuck I need some bud right now :wtf:.

coulda been schwagg? you say headache, and lot of people seem to get headaches from smoking schwagg... which is lower quality... was it compressed, or fluffy buds? was it really dry (crumbles when you work it between your fingers) or was it sticky? was it green, or did it have kinda darker brownish tint to it?

Heh, orangeman, your pipe is pretty nice for being a cheapy (I read that post when you were talking about getting one). Your bowl is larger than a lot of others, but my pipe (it was $25) has a bigger bowl. Anyway, to that dude who authored this thread... orangeman is right. Pack a good sized bowl and smoke it all at once. Then you won't just have a buzz, you'll be high as fuq! Go for it ;). Oh, and how much did the weed you get cost? You said you bought a pipe and the weed for $50. You must be gettin' mids or schwag, though cuz it only takes me a few hits to get a good high with some dank. Get high nigga! Smoke weed like it's tobacco! Just kidding, that'd be a waste. But smoke some more next time. See how you feel ;). You need to gauge what is comfortable for you.

Kinda a green, with some brownmand there does seem to be some some buds together...Ive seen some shittier stuff, but this looks good. Strong odor. It was dry though for sure, it seems, but I could tell ya if it was schwag.

Yea I know to cover the carb, when do you let go, after it's lit...I just kept it covered. First time yesterday.

keep the carb covered until u feel u can barely take anymore then uncover it and suck a little but to get the remaining smoke outta the bowl.

Orangeman my buddy has a pipe the size of your arm. And Newbie, can you put up a pic of the weed you got?

i never uncover it... i really don't fuckin understand why there's a carb on spoons... it's like fuckin pointless... the 'chamber' that's there to clear isn't even a mouthful...

my bowl hits like a bittttttttttttch but then agian, i paid for a top quality pipe, 80 but i got a special price for it since the guy the day before was being a dick, i payd like 45 or 50, for a spoon. i love it!!! got it in a head shop in maui. :rastasmoke:

I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED THE SAME THING! It just doesn't make any sense. Some one told me a it's a cooling system once, but I don't know if they were just talking really stoned, or if that's a fact.

Whenever I uncover mine, doesn't get much cooler...

ight a carb is ment so like u know how when u take a hit, ur supposed to inhale afterwards? well when u let go of the carb, that is basically a way to get the smoke deeper into your lungs.
