Yesterday I was smoking some serious keeeef out of my bong..

..yes not the smartest idea.

...ANYWAY..I coughed really hard while trying to hold my hit in and it seriously tried to shoot out my ears!

It hurt so bad and got me so stoned that every time I opened my eyes I felt dizzy cause of my ears...so I ended up just taking a nap. Due to the strobe lighting environment I now had...from my ears...I think?

Anyway...wake up from the nap, and that shit is still making me feel dizzy and nauseated! ALL freaking night!

My ears still hurt today and I feel all funny.

Owie...I just keep thinking it's going to go away!!!

Yea shit like that could happen chances are you still have some traces of smoke left in your nasal system. Try unblocking your ears, taking a shower and going for a nice walk outside.

What happened is you put extreme blowout pressure on your earmdrums and on the rest of your sinus tubes. Those lead mainly to the brain, so that explain why you got a headache.

You could have blown your eardrums doing that. That's like holding your nose and mouth close while you sneeze. All that air and pressure that should be going out, stays inward and puts pressure on your sinuses and eardrums.

Be more careful next time. You'd hate to blow an eardrum smoking herb. :)

I still feel really sick from it..I keep having waves of nausea...and I have puked like 3 times.

I drank last night, but not that much...due in large part mainly because of my extreme ear pain and feeling sick from it.

I think it messed with my equilibrium...all I know is that my ears still hurt really bad.

i've blown out my ear drum before, but I had an ear infection at the same time so I dont know if you would have the same symptoms. did you wake up with crusty stuff on your face or pillow? thats what happened to me. (the crusty stuff was puss from behind my ear drum). you might want to go to the doctor

If you smoke some kif today, I would avoid the bong. :p Kif and bongs are killer hits, so I would use a smaller scale piece.

thats odd that you had to vomit though, unless its because you messed with your cochlea and have a false sense of motion sickness. If not I say you might have had the beginings of an ear infection and when the smoke pushed it to other areas it made you feel the way you did.

For a few weeks now my ears have been bugging me off and on...(usually only when I take a fat hit though)..

Your dizzy because your sense of balance is in yuor ear. That probably also explains the sickness. As long as your not bleeding, at all, and make sure! Than you should be ok, but if it carries on for more than 2 days go to the docs just to be sure, cos you dont want any sort of infection, and you definatly dont want to go deaf [or be fucked up] any longer.

i was going to say pretty much what LIP said. first thing i thought of when you mentioned dizziness and nausea was your equilibrium. especially if it's an on-going thing. But it seems like i heard from somewhere that smoke in the ear can cause an ear infection as well. i fucking HATE ear infections. i had one about 2 months ago. HORRIBLE SHIT. probably the second worst health related shit i've experienced as far as pain. number one would be the spinal tap i got a long time ago. they stuck me like 4-5 times before they got it right.

...anyway, sorry for trailing off topic. i had a friend once who had a permanent ringing in his ears from smoking heavy all the time. he quit and his shit still rings. so apparently you can fuck yourself up in a few ways when it comes to shit like this. hope you get better soon though.

holy shit....I did the same exact thing while hitting my vaporizer a few weeks ago...worst pain ever...it went away after an hour or so though...I don't know what to tell you... if it's still hurting tomorrow u should see a doctor

That just goes further to prove to me America really does suck. If you phone up ill over here, that's it. If your gunner have a long time off then yeah you need a docs note, but for a day or two... no way.

So beyond the ear problems I think I am just sick anyway. Ears hurt, head hurts, throat, body...got a gnarly cough, and my ears hurt! yay!

I called in sick and so did someone else. My work is SCREWED. Whoopsies.

im going to agree with america here, people lie about being sick to get out of things all the time. if it is a long time and trusted employee thats one thing, or if she hadnt called in sick a lot before it should be ok, which it is over here usually. my guess is they were really busy to have her come in, that is the most likely, next which is less likely cause she probly would hace mentioned it is that she has called in a lot recently, third her boss may just be a dick

I actually hardly ever call in sick. I probably call in sick less than any other person at my work.

They just are understaffed as always and too stupid and frugal to hire more employees so they just deal with getting screwed over all the time.

You comments about America are out of line. Maybe where you come from there are no checks and balances and employees are allowed free reign. Or maybe the management personel isn't really qualified to handle situations. Sounds like a great place.

Most people in management understand the reasons behind getting a doctors note. Some companies give employees paid sick days. In order to get paid you must show some type of proof. Not too difficult to understand or accept is it? Usually a Doctors note will suffice.

Believe it or not some people will actually lie about being sick, shocking isn't it. (sarcasm)
Sometimes that can cause undo strain on the other workers who have to pick up the slack. Or the work may get pushed aside. The end result, the customers suffer. Without customers, no company and no job.
