Someone please help, NOW, please

I just got off the phone with a friend. And aparently my other close friend has just been hauled off to prison.

He had

ONE fucking plant



ONE. It wasnt even that big. Christ. My friend said he showed up to my buddies house and there were FIVE cop cars and the plant was in the back of the truck. They asked what happened and the cops asked my friends if they smoke, they said no.

The cops said your friend will call you, FROM PRISON all sarcastic and what not.

SOmeone who knows legality of this situation please help me. I know cultivation comes at a heft price.


He's 19. Hes been cuaght for possession I beleive once and owed 250 dollers to the court.

He didn't get hauled to prison...he's probably in county jail. I'm sure he'll have a bond...smoke a bit sit back and then find out where he's at and contact him? Legality? Dude, he was growing weed. They busted him somehow, and he's going to have to go to court over it..nothing you can do right now but wait for situation to unfold a bit.

I know I know. I just feared for the worst becuase I know with growing any amount of weed=jail time.

That suprises me, I thought Cali was pretty easy on pot smokers... Than again they may come down harder on people growing without premission.

I can't really tell you much. I doubt it will be to bad for one plant living where you live. I'm not to familiar with the area or being busted on cultivation though.

He'll probably get probation, fines, community service. Jail time would be abnormal.

california be mo' leaniant on that shit than pretty much any other state. he's no tgoing to prison so don't worry. i'm sure he's gonna get in a shitload of trouble, but he's not going to prison. if you guys lived in virginia where i live, he'd already be there.

yeah he will be ok. just plead personal use the worst that will happen is a treatment program . be gratefull it was cali. but even in a quakerstate like pennsylvania where i live one plant isnt shit . he'll b alright just make sure he gets bail or he'll sit till his hearing . so if you really want to help him sell your stash and post bail .

It'll all depend on the area and I don't know it very well at all. We are comming off of an election year..lets just hope some up and comming DA doesn't decide to make a name for himself with this poor bastard. Sounds like he won't be getting to enjoy the green for a while indeed.
