oh and my plant is 37 days in flower if i throw a mh in there now would it shock the plant
I think "totally wrong spectrum" is incorrect. Don't MH lights just emit less of the red/yellow light than HPS? They emit more blue light, and HPS emit more yellow, but they both emit a range of colours not just one spectrum. I am quite sure that is correct, but not 100% sure.Quote:

you are correct cannuck
no you can get great results from a mh i have been reading threads on the mh and people say that the quality of the bud is way better with a mh then an hps

check this thread
flowering with a mh will decrease yeild, but won't affect quality or taste. buds will be more compact and solid.
hps is for the arm sized buds :D
i need to know if putting a 1000 watt mh in the closet on day 37 of flowering wil hurt it
what is in there currently? you should be fine with the light as long as heat is taken care of.
i just got 3 20 watt cfls and two 40 watt daylight t12s, do you think a single fan will be fine
1000W is going to be really hot. I've never used one myself, but it really depends on the kind of fan and where it's positioned. I'll step back and let the pros help you on that one though so you get it right! Best of luck.
