Where in the quality range does 'chronic' fall?
Basically, I hear people say "chronic" or "chron", but I don't know quite what quality they're talking about.
I mean, I know there's mexican brick and then middies and high mids ($5/gram Ohio prices)
Then there's KB, stuff that's green, maybe a seed or two in a quarter at most, and has a lot of noticeable crystals.
And then there's your name brands, really awesome stuff that I can't ever find :(
So where do you place chronic in this bud-heirarchy? Thanks in advance.

there is no right answer to your question. Different places call certain grades of weed different things. Best thing to do is just look at it and smoke it before you buy it, who cares about names these days kids are callin all kinds of stupid names.

KB is unheard of
chronic is just used by me as a general term for any weed
high-mids isnt rly a term we use either, just shuffle it over into the "dro" category

:D Well in south africa we have :
kartjie (car-chee) : Horrible twigy,leafy, seedy low quality weed usually obtained in a brown paper envelop from a hobo/shack dweller. R5 (5 Rand)(7 Rand = 1 USD$) an envelope
Rasta Skuif (ras-ta skay-ff) : Because we buy it from rastafarians living in the township (little shack city) and some low level dealers, very seedy, some small heads, low quality but gets you pretty gaffed if you smoke like 5-10 bongs. Usually sold in a R10,R20 or R50 bag, a R50 bag being about 12-14 grams.
Chronic : any good stuff of unknown strain, the dealers make up names or plagerize other strains names, its pretty stupid when the dealers like,Aaahh ja its white widow.......but it doesnt look like white widow.........tit,anyways it good stuff, gets you f*cking stoned. Usually pay R70 a gram, good looking buds, covered in trichomes
Amsterdamn Quality : (call it by what ever strain it is White Widow, Haze, etc) Usually pay R140 a gram
well dats SA
Peace

Bad weed
Schwagg (pronounced shwag)
Dirtweed
Brickweed
Mexi-weed
Ditchweed
Shitweed
Middle-quality bud
Mids
Regs
Just plain weed
High-quality bud
*Chronic and all iterations thereof (Kron, Chron, etc.)
*Dro
*Haze
Dank
Bomb/Killer/Sweet shit
*Skunk
Fire
*These terms can also apply to strains of weed. Here's what they are...
Chronic---Some strains have this in their name to denote that it's good shit, but the original word chronic came from a strain that was really potent a long time ago
Dro---This is short for hydroponic, which is a method of growing that -CAN- but not always produce high-quality weed.
Haze---Added to some types of bud that are high quality (Hawaiian, Purple, Dutch, etc.)
Skunk---Was originally its own strain that was revered for it's extremely potent smell
skunk, chronic, and haze are each strains of marijuana they are just what was made popular by music or by being very abundant in probably the late 1980's and 1990's and now everyone generalizes those strains as the quality of the bud.

in my area, theres no such thing as shwag/brickweed, regs is the lowest it goes, being WAY worse than mids.

I love BC, we just have pot here. If it sucks then it's called shitty weed. But for the most part unless you're buying off the crackhead downtown you are going to get good pot. Chronic here is used as a synonym for pot, or as an adjective synonymous to dank or potent.
Really the whole mids, highs, whatever-else-there-is thing seem strange to me. Is it an American thing or do we canucks use those as well?
