Anyone else quote things out of habit?

I have noticed myself using the quote button a lot lately when it isn't needed. I swear, it can be a new thread with no responses and I will quote the thread starter. I'm really starting to annoy myself.

Yup, just like that. When I am replying to someone in perticular I tend to just hit the quote button not thinking about if it is obvious as to who I'm replying to. Oh well.

Oh really, Its not bothering anyone expcept you so it doesnt really matter, quote even yourself if you want!

I only quote if I need to make a point. Otherwise, I scroll to the bottom.

I thought you meant in daily life. My ex-boyfriend (and best friend) and I randomly quote Simpsons catch phrases. It gets so bad that we'll do it without noticing, but we can tell exactly which episode and who says it.
