Volcano Owners, how do you smoke it?

Right so we invest 500 into a volcano and then all the instructions etc are all about lavender and all that... so im just trying to get all volcano users to post how they smoke it

Copy n paste this and answer it and then if we get a few we can see are we all miles off or close to each other

OK try this method.

Switch volcano heating element ON - do not turn it off - keep it on all the time.

Measure some bud. I usually use 0.3g but this might be a bit much for some people.

Don't grind it (no I'm not kidding)

Set volcano temp dial to 4.5/5.0

Very roughly break the weed into chunks and into the volcano - 5 or 6 lumps

Run the volcano - inhale bag full

Increase temp by 0.5 - run again

run again unless no more vapour appears....

remove weed - break it up some more

run again

up the temp to 6 and run again

take the weed out - grind it - back in again

Up the temp to 7 (205 degrees 'C')

Keep going (all the way to Temp 9 if you want) until no more vape happens.

I find this extracts a fuck of a lot of THC and keeps the taste amazing all the time, each time you break it up even more flavour comes out - at high temps it doesn't taste so good. Afterwards though this vapor-poo/duff is not much use and isn't good for smoking or brownies.

Don't beleive that the Volcano only extract 40% THC - it extract 40% in ONE RUN continually grinding and exposing the plant material means you really do get a lot more THC out of the weed compared with setting it on fire.

I'm a light enough Smoker so 0.5 If im smoking every day, or 1-1.5 if i havnt been smoking and its a special occasion haha.

I smoke with the girlfriend and put in about 0.3 like recommended, normaly 0.3 will get us both very high from a joint so I don't see why i'd need more for the volcano

Start at 5

4.What temp do Finish on (if you change it at all)?
Finish at 6.5-7

5.How many bags would you fill before it's spent?
About 5 , my bag is about 2.5 foot long

Tried just filling and filling till it's all gone and i got so baked, then ive tried 2-3 at the start and the rest over time and it wasnt as strong.

First time tried to nearly take the whole bag in haha, then tried like a normal joint and either way i hold to nearly zero. But I don't know which is better, which explains this post haha to find out.

I havn't been getting as high as i expected so i normally top it off with a joint and then im flying

About 2g/day, I used to smoke tobacco with joints so would put only say 0.3g in a joint.

Now I am on no more than 1g/day - unless I'm in a "recreational" mood.

About 0.3g should be enough to get some creamy vapours going - that's for just me but would easily get 2 people stoned.

Depends on your stash, but start lower - around 5

4.What temp do Finish on (if you change it at all)?
As high as you like ;)

I always increase it to at least 7 as that is 205 degrees C which is the perfect point for THC to vapourise.

Only go to 9 with certain strains or if I'm on a "recycle" *see below.

5.How many bags would you fill before it's spent?
This depends on temp and herb
Good quality herb = more crystals = more vapourrrrr
High temp = more released faster = less bags (but strong)

6.Keep filling bags till its spent OR fill 2-3 bags then do the rest over time?
I keep going but that's because I don't like to leave it as it goes dry - but its personal choice. Sometimes I load less and have a few weaker bags.

Go easy at first... My friend ended up on his arse first time he tried inhaling it in one go.

Tip* - If you are Vaping alone then get a good inhale from the bag and hold it a second, then exhale back into the bag. This recycles the vapour, I only tend do do this once or twice per bag but it does seem to work.

Roll a J for sure :)
The volcano delivers mainly THC (the vapour is 95% THC) so you do miss several other agents in the weed. Also some weed "vapes" better than other weed, some weed is so delicious it deserves smoking.

Do both!

9.How long am I high for?
Depends on dose but I find the high slightly less intense initially (compared to a bong or pipe hit) but comes on strong within 15mins. A bit like eating it - but faster.

After 30 mins or so it settles in and then you can add more and "top-up" your high, I have found that you can build a tolerance quite quickly to the same weed.

Keep several types of weed and change every week or so - helps a LOT.

*Recycle - always keep your duff/spent weed. I tend not to overheat mine and just collect it up. Once you have enough then grind it up (put plenty in) and add it to the volcano - do a run on temp 7 and temp 9.

You can get a lot of vapour out of previously "vaped" weed - just need enough.

Yea i put my spent grass in a bag and firstly .... holy god it smells so good! With some types of dry weed i have it smells better after then it did before :) But yea i put the spent weed into the volcano and then sprinkle some pollen on top ... it's alot better then just putting the pollen straight in!

So is myself and delta9 the only volcano users in here? Lets see is everyone on the same page or do we all have different techniques?

once in a while then stop for a while then start up again keeping my tolerance low

i put in a leveled teaspoon amount and ive gotten 3 people including myself stoned 2 times in one night off of that so that should be good for up to 6 people

i just suck the smoke out of the bag straight into my lungs its cool enough too and you get big hits it usually takes 2 or 2.5 hits to clear one bag

stick with the volcano you wont need a j to top it off

few hours then you can just use whats left in the volcano when it wears off and get high again for a few more hours once the stuffs brown and tastes like burnt popcorn you know its done

I have a volcano but I'm too stoned to fill out this list thing, and too inexperienced I just got mine a few weeks ago lol. Still reading how other people do it.

delta9 ... i tried the not crushing it and then doing a few fills and crushing again and wow! I was gone!

The bud i get is vacuum packed so its squished to begin with so breaking it up and doing a few runs gets the thc on the outside then crushing it just breaks everything to nearly dust and the next run must extract the whole lot.

.2 or .3 good for 4-5 bag fills with 2.5ft long bag i all use 8ft long bag with .5g and just fill it once

Volcano all night maybe one bong rip to top it off but not really necessary after two or three bowls of volcano

one bowl- 1 to 2 hours
two or three bowls- 3-4 hours then just pass out

I live in Oregon only vape the dankest medical strains around and the volcano really helps me take my medicine and relieve the pain

With the Duff (vape leftovers) i make cannabutter with i put duff in a jar until i have around 4oz of duff then use one pound of butter makes some really potent cannabutter:S5:

It would take me about 16 months to get 4 oz of duff :) But yea im definitely going to be making cannabutter out of what ever i get, It's suprising how well it smells.
Im from Ireland and everyone just smokes that horrible soapbar and then the grass you do get is absolutely terrible. So with my spent premium imported grass haha im sure its stronger then any other grass you get over here to smoke :) haha

I start off on 6.5 little high I know but blows my mind.The taste is exsqusite can,t be beaten.Depends on the herb,had some mind bender in it which was really fruity whereas the afghan kush was just plain herby kinda vap but still nice none the less.
