So my Honda engine has died (thought it would last forever!). They say I didn't take care of it in time and now it needs a $4,000 engine rebuild! FUK! That totally sucks. Especially when I think of how much bud I could buy. hmmmm...

if you live in a city, use public transportation/invest in a nice bicycle...if you live where a car is a MUSt, then fix it up.....also for 4000$, if youre single, or whatever, i say get a used sport bike of some sorts...save on gas, and its good for cities
if you have other means of reliable transportation, buy weed!
maybe keep like a grand and get a little car that works fine, if you need it.
rebuild it yourself. or put a brand new crate engine in that mofo, either way it should cost less if you do it yourself. fuck mechanics, they overcharge hundreds of dollars
lol, if you can read a book... and if you have tools.. do it yourself... shit mechanics around here charge 60-120 dollars AN HOUR... O.O!
You should be able to find most any Honda engine used for less than $1k shipped to your door with a 1 year warranty (except the B18C5, NSX motor, K20A, F20C - you know, performance-type motors). Depending on what motor you have, the core can be worth some money to people too. As long as it hasnt been oil starved or overheated, used motors can be great - I have put them in several vehicles.
you could get a pretty decent car for $4 grand. my van was 8 years old when i bought it and it was only 3 grand. shop around.
Damn. Bring it to my house. i'll rebuild/replace the engine for 2k, give you an ounce of dank, and get you back on the road within 3 days.
Do it the easy way. Get a cheap engine, and simply replace it. It can be done within a day. And the only cost is the engine.
Then agian, i supose you have to know what your doing.
I'd sort it out for 1800$ - which is about £1000. Now that's cheap.

DAMN 4K for an engine replacement? Is it a brand new engine? Id had better be cast from gold for that much. They mush be charging you a good bit for labor as a new engine shouldn't be much more or less that 2K. At least that's about what it's been for all of my vehicles.
Find a used or rebuilt one for less $$. In any case, I'd suggest getting your car working right again. Weed is great, but it's not gonna drive you to work and back every day.
I can get any honda motor for less than $1000 call k watanabee they are based in LA they should be able to ship any were the last motor I bought for a 91 civic si was $365 shit you can get type r for $1800 i belive
