Hi all,
How long after a plant has developed it's preflowers will it start flowering?
left is a sativa, and right is an indica, they've both been growing for almost 3 months, and the light cycle is currently about 14hrs light 10hrs dark,

When the light cycle is around 12/12

Thanks, the soil is a mix of compost, potting soil and native soil from the area, also a little chicken manure and gravel. I will have to get some bloom fert.
One is flowering the other not.
ok, the indica is just starting to flower now, only about 1.5 meters tall, but very wide and bushy, light cycle is just over 13hrs proper light, so i'm guessing that 12hours light for a plant to flower is a generalisation !? or just wrong !? or just depends on the individual plant or the strain or maybe growing conditions as well or maybe all of those things !?
Can someone tell me, do indicas flower later than sativas in general?
I'm guessing that these are both actually hybrids but leaning very heavily towards either way. I don't know the strains, just that their mothers were very potent, which was my choice for growing them.
Does it imply, if the mothers were potent, that the daughters will be too? or does it depend too much on the father? or growing conditions as well?
And the answer to my original question would be, you can't tell how long after preflowering that flowering will begin, anyone disagree with this?
Let me just say I enjoy learning all i can from all the information this forum has to offer, but i think one learns most from experience.

I'm glad to see those reactions, I wasn't sure how well it was going, it's only a bit over three weeks into flowering so it should still beef up a lot more i guess. It is a scrawny plant 'though, it's just been growing up and not out, not a very thick stem, I don't think I'll get very much off it, also a lot of the older leaves are going yellow and falling off, a lot! I don't know how worried I should be about that. It smells... um, good! :D I don't think I know how to explain a smell.. it's getting sticky too :)
Wow really envy you, my plant is into 3 weeks flowering but it is not even one quater of yours. I am using using the flowering fert with NPK 13-13-21, and I living in Asia. My place the the light is only 7/17 cos I am staying in the city area and the sunlight is blocked by building.
