Never smoking weed EVER again!

Before I tell my little story, I'll start by saying I have always loved weed. For the past 4 years I've been smoking and haven't really had any bad experiences at all. But about 3 nights ago that all changed when I had the worst day of my life. Me and my cousins got 35 dollars worth and we were smoking a blunt. After about 10 hits I was done because I could tell this shit was starting to kick in. I soon felt immense discomfort, like I was losing consciousness. My eyes began to feel like they were pumping and my head was throbbing alot. My heart felt like it was tearing apart and I thought I was going to die. Soon after I began puking and going to the bathroom alot...I was sick to my stomach. I told my cousins to leave and I just lied down. The experience was almost out of body, like I was watching all of this happen from a different perspective. It definetly was not laced because my cousins felt fine and they smoked 2 more after I was done. What do you think could have happened?

maybe you took too many hits in a short time. everyones bodys different. your body couldve been just having an off day to begin with

i think it was a panic attack. Some people have huge panic attcks... Dont worry i dont think it is goin to happen again. If it does then mate, there is a possibility that weed brings panic attacks to you. it happens sometimes. It is good to visit a therapist. Little bromazepam didnt hurt anybody.

take a break, since you once loved it, im sure youll ease back into it?

yea definitely pannic attack especially when you get the im gonna die felling,its all in your head, pannic attacks can make you fell really uncomfortable, racing heart, other weird fellings, if you've been smoking for years like myself its bound to happen here and there

Sounds like you might've smoked opium. I jad a similiar experience.

I mean, I've only done that once but it was nothing like that at all

My friend freaked out like that too and he was never gonna smoke ever again
He's had alot of problems, tried to kill himself, ect.

All good now, going over his house to worship the cannabis god ;)

Just take a break, it's all good

I have read on a different site that some strains do cause panic attacks to some people. If you know that strain you smoked, don't smoke it again or take a break like that other guy said. Good Luck Man :) ...

Definitely sounds like a panic attact. They are often brought on by pot use....not uncommon. Usually there are other mental issues going on- not necessary serious but possibly depression, childhood traumas, etc. The key to working through them is the knowledge that is usually passes in a short while, deep steady breathing, and trying to relax and stay calm. There's plenty on the net about it.

yeah its a panic attack, just take a break and make sure you are relaxed and not too stressed/worried next time u smoke

We all should know this is extremely easy to duplicate on a gravity bong and I certainly know it happens to me only witha blunt and when im caughtr up with the place im smokin it and before i know its half gone i take one more hit start putting it out then it wont go out i take one more big hit and put it out bag it up sit down and one minute later im laying on my side in bed cover over me not moving head spinning stomach throbbing and bubbling and i suck it up go to kitchen spread peanut butter on one piece of bread almost puke fall right back into bed...

I learned my lesson learn yours.

I felt sick rest of that day only by late night i took two cautious hits from steamroller because i thought it was from the tobacco. it mostly was but now you know.

You shouldn't hate weed just cuz you backtripped...

Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I'm not sure about the whole panic attack thing because I have had panic attacks but never with the feeling that my heart is going to blow up...I was really in severe pain. Do you think I should see a doctor about it?

With every hit your heart rate increases.

You should take several breathes between each hit. Allows for your normal oxygen intake to return to normal. And you dont have to hold in hits for a real long time. 3 seconds is suffice and should prevent your heart rate from jumping up.

Edit: Make sure the inbetween breathes arent rushed. Make them deep and slow.

And your not going to smoke weed again? Wusss. If you've been smoking for 4 years you wouldnt say that and mean it. You couldnt, not if you love it enough to smoke it for 4 years.

It's like riding a bike, if you fall of get the fuck back on, same with weed, light that blunt and take the biggest hit you can, and hotbox a room with that single hit.

laced weed, or panic attack. idk dude. chill for like 2-3 weeks and try it again

Try taking less hits in a short period of time also try making the blunt longer so it burns longer and you can sit back for awhile.

Weed has never killed anyone, this is true. But it can,theoretically, cause a heart attack. If you take too many hits, in too little time (and if you have a weak heart), chances are you will get a heart attack. Smoke fills your lungs and little oxtgen is present. Your heart has to pump faster to deliver the same amount of oxygen... = heart attack. But that would be the persons own fault...

can you please explain more about smoking opium?? do you mean like people would lace weed wiht opium or are you just taking the piss out of him, lol i know it osunds like a noob question but a mate got drug tested and they found opium... and his only ever smoked weed and fags...

Opium is a form of heroin am I right?
It's pricey and addictive, but I'd consider it ok to put a little ontop of your bud while smoking once a month ;)

Last time I did it, I sat on a couch for two hours watching and kid movie(Tripplet's of Belleville) totally confused. My friend said "Dude I think I pissed myself", but I couldn't manage to turn my head to look at him or say anything.

Blunts r bad the nicotne levels in cigar tobacco is extremly high and causes nausea in many people who inhale it. It alone can cause the symptoms u talked about.Nicotene is a deadly poision a single drop can kill a human . Besides I dont want my weed adulteraed with tobacco. Tobacco is bad mmmmk

The wrap that the tobacco in a cigar is rolled in, even though it is still tobacco, is far less harmful then the contents inside.
