Has anyone ever smoked the infamous G-13?

If you don't know,G-13 is supposedly weed grown by the government that is the best stuff out there that causes no anxiety effects,well according to American Beauty, the movie but anyway i guess this stuff really exists seen in High Times Magazine and cannibus cup events so heres some info that I though was pretty intresting on G-13:rastasmoke:

- High Times Magazine claims that this plant eas tested at 27.2% THC (see January 1999 Issue). When we flower our plants at the same time the g13 starts to produce heavy amounts of resin way before any other plants we try. It finishes in under 45 days with so much resin that light handling of finished buds produces lots of finger hash.
Quality of high is so satisfying we don't want to smoke anything else. 2 to 3 tokes is all you need for an exceptional long lasting + unique high (even chronic smokers like me). This makes g13 the most economical smoke at any price

- 100% indica, medium hight, likes to branch out. G-13 is a must have for any serious growers, and breeders. Whatever male I used to breed with the G-13 produced a large percentage of ultra high resin producing plants. High Producer, 6-7 weeks flowering. G-13 is easily cloned, can be sucessfully rejuvinated after flowering. G-13 as a female only exsists as a clone. Although I myself as well as many others are trying to assimilate this breed in seed.
You know that it is G-13 when you roll it. If you use your fingers to break up buds, they will become so sticky, that is is very difficult to roll. Smoking G-13 doesn't produce any sleepy, heavy head, or headache symptoms.

-Size- Large size for a 100% indica yeild is high.
Adaptibility- Indoor and Outdoor.
Hardiness- Medium To High.
Resistance- Spider Mite do attack, but cannot kill flowering plants.
Disease- Mold will set in high humidity, so be carefull.
Maturation- Six to seven weeks flowering time.
Sex- This plant is female only, but I am sure there are many hybrids. This plant exsists only as a female clone.

-The history of G-13 is just a legend. The story I heard goes like this. The U.S. government has operated a research pot farm in the state of Mississipi since the 60's. Over time, the powerful agency's operated by the U.S. government (CIA, FBI, DEA, etc.) bought, and collected cannibus (clones and seeds) from every part of the world. All true breeding varieties (the most prized by breeders). Some one stole a cutting from a 100% indica that is a genetic masterpiece. Circulated underground and now the world.
Have you seen the movie "American Beauty"? The script writers must have had a connection to this plant. I think smoking this weed had a major effect on the writers that lead them to winning five Oscars. Rent the movie and watch it. To bad Hollywood had to pay $2000 U.S dollars per ounce. The quality of the high is so unique we always go back to G-13.

i have only heard of it in american beauty, where he sells what looks to be a gram of it for two grand. after i heard that i just assumed it was fake, but i guess not. unless he is saying two grams not two grand when spacey asks how much, a possibility but im pretty sure it was grand

I doubt it's gov't herb, if there is such a strain... The patients who get federal bud receive a strain (usually pre-rolled into joints- how cool of a job would that be?!) that is very low in THC... The federal gov't wouldn't want the patients to get high, now would they?

But if it is real, a grand per gram can kiss my ass. It'd be cheaper to buy a few seeds and plant your own...

I have some G-13 now that is alledgedly grown by the government, it is pretty good smoke too.:stoned: It came from the weed store in Sherman Oaks.

There are so many things wrong with this statement.. There is no "federal" bud, it is against federal law. A few states have passed laws making it legal for medicinal purposes. I get medical bud here in cali, and it is better than any shit you find on the street (okay maybe not any, but its for sure not "low-THC").

I've seen it growing, but i never got a chance to smoke it, but i know i'd like it. I love indicas, and the stronger the better. I might get some seeds or try and find someone with clones.

is hashplant 100 % indica. i remeber it produced somewhat of tha same effects/.

Yeah, i think hash plant is 100% indica. I've grown that out once, and it was a very nice smoke, and i got about 8 grams of finger hash from it too.

on the penn and teller bullshit on weed they have the list of people who still legally receive medical marijuana from the federal government. there are about eight people on the list as the program was shut down in the seventies, but those on it were still allowed to receive it. so unless you know some of those people or have found out where they grow it and ripped them off i doubt anyone here has smoked us gov grown weed

yeah i heard that there are only 6 people in the united states to this date that receive medical marijuana on a daily basis, from some websites

well there are more than that who can get medical marijuana but it isnt government grown

The story gos that it was a male only situation with the G-13 and so now you only see it in crosses.

I did smoke some "G-13" in amsterdam in the grey area - a cross with something I can't remember.

I doubt very much it was truly some federal super-weed though, damn nice smoke to be fair though and that's what mattered :)

i doubt it.. but supposedly i have.. i know it WAS medical marijuana, but it was claimed to of been g-13 as well... we only had a single small roach, between two people (it was his uncle that had it) but we got high as hell.... more high then i woulda got smoking an entire joint by myself...

like i said, i doubt it really was g-13, but it was damn good shit....

I also have smoked what was supposedly G-13. It was back a few years ago when I hardly ever smoked. A friend of mine had about 2 grams and we smoke a couple bowls. It blew my mind. I was so cooked, but like I said, it was back when I was an amature smoker. I'm not sure it would have the same effect now, but it was some pretty dank shit.

There is a Federal medical marijuana program, however, it is very different from the state-sanctioned medical marijuana programs. Federal herb is only given to about 6 people whom the government deems worthy of receiving the herb.

Medical marijuana laws in Cali, Nevada, and other MMJ states allow people who get a note from a physician to buy and grow it legally. In that state.

I hate to break the bubble, but it wont be G-13. Simple as that. It could be shithot x 10, but doesnt make it the right strain. Although, if you've had it smuggled, i wouldnt mind some ;)

I bought an 8th of G-13 in NJ a few eyars back. One of the best smokes i've ever had. That's what my trustworthy friends called it, i have no reason not to belive them. Whatever it was it was an experiance i'll never forget.

Well i believe that you can only get a G-13 cross, not a pure G13 because the original strain was a female clone. From what I understand someone ran in there and stole a clone from the USG.

American Beauty is one of my favorite movies, but 2000/gram is way bullshit. Almost ruins that movie.

$2000 a gram is a kiddie fantasy, a gram of gold isnt that expensive, a gram of saffron isnt, a gram of any other drug isnt, it's insanely wrong. If it did exist, its dumb for people to know about it. You cant trust people in the illegal drug trade. It is inevitable for someone to name their bud G-13 or any other name which resembles something very potent. It will happen, just as kids sell joints rolled with oregeno, people will give false advertising because they can. Its the drug world, you must trust yourself, not others.

Well cantg believe no one else mentioned but in every single issue of tghe 30 or so high times i got almost all the seed company advertisements have the seedbank that specializes in G-13 crosses and i bet many of you have smoked that wether its a famous mystic strain or not...
