What is a dime bag and a nickle bag?
dime is 10 bucs worth of bud and nickle is 5 bucs worth of bud
generally, 10$ worth the weed and 5$ worth the weed... but i highly doubt you're going to find many people here that buy/sell as small as 5$... so just take my word for it... i'm assuming you're buying schwagg/mids if you're even having to wonder what a nickel is... which no i'm not meaning it to sound like it may... those are my grades...
a nickel, or "nick" meaning 5 Cents = 5 Grams, no...it does not cost 5 cents, lol, that's just where it comes from.
a Dime,(i.e.), 10 cents, is 10 Grams
If you have a good dealer you will get say 6.5 grams and 13-14 grams in a nick and dime respectively as a thanks for buying suck a decent amount from them, if your buying off the street your usually just getting you 5 and 10.
Yes, as I noticed it has a different meaning for different areas, this is how it is around here.
Are you sure? Cause this guy was telling me he knew a guy who could get me a nickle bag for 90$ or a half nickle for 50$ and he acted like it was a really good deal.
haha thats called getting ripped off bro, fuck the dude that told you that
Read my post, that's what he was talking about.Quote:

Then it better be the best fucking weed you've ever smoked in your life.
I've never heard a nick or dime refer to grams.. I've always used nicks and dimes as in a standard nickle or dime bag.. If that's right and it's nugs and you're paying $50 for a "half nickle" (2.5 grams) that's right.
Well here it's grams, and a half nickle ( if it were 2.5 grams ) would be 25 dollars.
Why can't people be normal and just say gram, eighth (3.5G), quarter (7G), half ounce (14G), ounce (28G), pound (16OZs), and kilo (2.2LBs)?
If that's nugs that's a steal, if it's mid grade weed that is a rip off... do you know the differenceQuote:

'Dime Bag' is a general term for $10 worth of weed.
Back in the day, a 1/4 Ounce (7 Grams) only cost $10.
An 1/8 ounce was $5, thus the terms, nickel bag and dime bag.
Well a dime coin is .10cents, and a nickel coin is .5cents, sooooo, a "dimebag" means $10 worth, and a "nickel bag" is $5 worth.
$5 worth is generally a joints worth, a standard size joint, so $10 worth would be double that.
That's how it was for back in the day us anyways, where you could actually buy bags that small.
a dime bag is something a dealer will sell u for $10 and a nickel is somthing a dealer will sell u for $5
lol @ some of the responses.. sigh...
anyways, how much herb people in you area deem acceptable for 5 or 10 is what a nick or dime is where you live, not everyone in the world is weighing shit out to slang. lol kind of funny growing up, what I call nick bags I get a handful of em for 5 dollars, so really they were like.. penny bags lol.. sigh, wonder what went through someones mind when they were like hey lets call a 60 dollar bag a nickle even though I can't see any reason to name it after a coin that is 5 cents. Think ima start selling dubs for 30 bwaaaa
I know people who sell nickels and dimes of headies, you just don't get that much.
haha yeahQuote:

not too much selling of the smaller stuff.
long island:
($5)nicks (only if its middies/regs)
($10)dimes (any type of bud, unless like supers or exotics and the dealer wont bother)
($20)deuces (any type of bud, but most people wont pay that much for mids/regs)
oh shit dude your from long island? I was born in New Jersey. Cool ass place.
hah yeah I got that on the street in jersey like 2 differnt times where they handed me this bag and i was like what the fuck small, then i looked at it and said ohh shit give me a few more ;)Quote:

A dime is 10 dollars worth of weed, .4-7 if its good weed and about 1.5 gram for shwagg
