I am thinking of stacking two rubbermaid totes together giving me a grow height of only three feet. This will be done in a closet. My question is can I train a single plant or two to grow in wide to make up for the limited height that i have?

Thanks for the quick replies...I have yet to begin I am still in the planning and purchasing stage. Its a bagseed grow BTW. First timer but with some gardening experience.
at lowes they have a 75 watt hps for $52.00...u could us ethe hps then have some cfls for underlighting and what not...good luck! keep us updated
Thanks for the tip bluntman. I wonder if one hps would be sufficient. Does this include a ballast or are you just talking about the bulb itself?

o by the way can u get 42 watt cfls at lowes or home depot?
