advice needed....badly

ok, heres the story: I am a senior in high school, I'm maintaining my grades, I'm going to graduate early, and I smoke weed multiple times daily. I got caught being high in school a month or 2 ago, so my parents have really been on my ass since then about weed. I've been put through drug testing, and drug counseling classes, but I keep on cheefin. I've also dealt quite a bit of chronic in the past year or so, which my mom always suspected, but I denied. However, last week I got a QP jacked from me (I had a gun to my head). The motherfuckers also took my wallet with $100 in it, my driver's license, and spare key to my car. Since they now know where I live I gotta hide my car untill I get the locks changed, and I had no choice but to tell my parents what really happened.

So now my parents want me to take some sort of rehab classes or something similar...but they say "YOU have to be the one that wants to quit, we can't force you." They said they would be dissappointed if I didn't go, but there's no point in going just to make them happy if I don't have real intentions of quitting (I really don't).

I REALLY need to know how I should break it to them that I'm not going to stop smoking. I've promised them I'm done dealin (which I really am), but they think the smoking life is just as dangerous as the dealing life and that I will get killed or end up in jail. I have untill tomorrow to decide if I'm going to go to these drug classes where the purpose is "planned and permanent abstinence"....FUCK THAT....

Anyways... I overheard my parents talking in the kitchen and they were talking about sending me away... which is definatley the absolute last thing I would want. So what I need from you guys is how I can tell my parents I'm gonna keep smoking after all of this ( my speech has got to be perfect, I'm on thin ice). Any advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks again

just be flat out and honest... also have some material prepared for them to read.. put both the good and the bad about weed....

here, this should help you mentally prepare for the verbal battle that will almost assuredly ensue between you and your parents and possibly some drug counsellor

how old are you? And either way, you need to respect your parent's wishes while you're in their household, mate. They care about you, and they probably see that you're going to fail in life because you're smoking. Keep doing well in school, work or whatever else you're doing. Quit smoking. Rehab, drug testing..the works. Deal with the shit and get it over with. When it's done, you can look back, laugh and enjoy chiefing. I got arrested last year and was put on probation for six months for parephenelia...I had to quit smoking otherwise I was going to get sent off. After everything was done on march 18 of 2006, I haven't stopped smoking since then, and will not. I'm going to stay out of trouble. More advice, you're too young to be even selling weed...the risk is very big...especially when you live with your parents?

how did you get caught being high at school??? were u acctually smoking at school?? or what?? Or were they just like..your eyes are red..u must be high...im confused

I heard about people getting caught high at school, and they mostly just tested their blood pressure to give an idea if they are or not. School was never that evil for me, hell i made it through the day many a time dosed on acid. But remember: parents money, parents house, parents rules. Respect them because they got nothing but love for you in their intentions.

Markass- I'm 17 and yes I do still live with my parents...yes I know the risk is big when dealin (almost got fucking shot over it) so I'm completely done.


Blazed- Yeah pretty much. I had nothing on me. I just smoked 2 bowls of the most chronic purple before class (just the normal routine, been doin it for years) and I was a few minutes late to my first period. I was being quiet, in my own little world just doing the assignment when my teacher calls me out of class and tells me i smell like pot. I act extremely suprised and deny, but I get sent to the office. The principle and vice principle look at my bloodshot eyes, smell my hands and breath and are like "OHHHHHH yea, that's marijuana," and I'm still trying to deny but then the 3 vicoden i popped earlier in the morning started to kick in (I had totally forgotten about them) and I just lost my motivation to keep fighting. They had already called my Mom in and I was already getting suspeneded, so there was nothing more to argue. And yeah.... that's pretty much the whole story...only got suspended for 1 day because i didnt have anything on me

Kiss you parents ass for another year. Go through the motions of the rehab classes or something similar...

Just go to that and make them happy. That way they won't send you away to wherever.

Hell you might meet some girl there or maybe you next dealer.

Start covering your ass. Don't get caught. You will be old enough soon to live your own life. One year is not anything.

Honesty in this case happens to be the best policy, but refrain from having the "im going to do it anyway" attitude, seem open and make it more of a discussion than a "im telling you what im doing" kinda thing.

my advice to you is to stop smoking at least until you get out of your parents house. From what you posted they seem like nice people, and although you may never want to quit smoking, you should respect them while you're living off them.

Help for what? Looks to me like it's a done deal, especially seeing how you're trying to blame everyone but yourself for the fix you're in! And pulling out "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" will only help your parents realize you have no intention of quitting. Your only way out is be on your best behavior and pray the heat dies down before they follow through on the plan to have you live elsewhere (military school?).
