wtf is transmuted? lol... and i'm not really sure of the question either..
plus minus multiply or divided
example 243197856 x 3 = 123456789 thats not the real answer though
both the number thats effected and the result of the translation must both contain 123456789 and no other numbers 1 of each. the end number must result in 123456789
123456789*1=123456789
and
123456789/1=123456789
lol? ok now i understand it.. btw are you looking for something else other then what WOTL posted?
it has to be something other then *1 or /1 lol thats too easy its in effect cheating :p
The number can contain a decimal as well.
I don't get it.
Here is the rules
#1 The end result must equal 123456789 without a decimal.
#2 The starting number must contain all numbers 1-9 any order. 9 digits in length.
#3 The starting number can contain a decimal point.
#4 You may only + - * / one time (plus minus multiply or divide)
#5 No use of * or / 1 to get the same number.

ok let me update rule #5 that includes No + 0 or minus 0 as well!
it is a unique number containing 1-9 + - / * another number to get 123456789
.123456789 * 1000000000
Edit: nevermind, its late -_-
Well technically that works but then again its a cheap method of trying to get around it so im gonna change it to this
First number can not be 123456789 but must contain all 9 numbers no duplicates and can have a decimal point.
oh yeah and your number would have to be 0.123456789 and u cant have a 0!
Not if you turned it into a fraction. :pQuote:

Freakin new math???¿¿¿???
some nice honest tries but nowhere near right yet. its right under your noses :p
Vermont's where it's at!
987654312/8 =123456789
What do I win?
thats just fuckin stupid... most brain teasers are an easy question with a hard answer... this is just shit... theres so many combos it would take forever.. the question is fucked up too..
Abattoir Dream
" 987654312 / 8 " is the only formula that has all 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 non-repeating digits that will give you the answer (123456789) .
It did take me awhile to understand the original question to be honest.
Hewhispers congratulations on figuring it out well acually you found a new one i didnt even know existed. the one i had was
61728394.5 x 2 = 123456789
Decimals? You cant use decimals!
Too many answers and it doesn't make for a "clean answer".
Know what I mean?
At least hit me with a "positive reputation" if there are no real prizes.
I'll also take seeds. :o
Acually here is what i wrote
Here is the rules

#2 The starting number must contain all numbers 1-9 any order. 9 digits in length.
#3 The starting number can contain a decimal point.

#5 No use of * or / 1 to get the same number.
The end result meaning the number you come up with. the starting number can contain a decimal.
oh yeah i added to your rep. hit me back. this was just a little puzzle to figure out no prizes im afraid
okay what two numbers equal 39849083754 and they can't be 9847849 or 8276423 and it has to be .08924 more transmuted than 64838 if you use 782633 in the equation (unless you use 87648!!!!)
Ok I was wrong....
246913578/2 = 123456789 is another one.
So there are at least three.
"Three "+" signs can be inserted within the sequence of 123456789 to make a sum of 666 ".
Whats the answer?
if you mean to make 3 6's thats 2+4 1+5 and 6
i hate this...:( lol
Toker4LifeVT
Did you take the little yellow bus to school?
I am beginning to wonder about you.
1. The sequence must be "123456789" (not "2+4 1+5 and 6")
2. The answer = 666 as in six hundred and sixty six !!!
Here are some examples (again using Three "+" signs)
12 + 345 + 67 + 89 = 513
1234 + 56+ 7+ 89 = 1386
See if you can handle it now.
easy once i got around to it lol..
123+456+78+9 = 666. now rep me! lol
btw i used deductive logic... obviously you couldn't use 789 so that elimnated alot of possibilities.
i got that awsner tooQuote:
