How Do I start from Scratch with Friends?

I need to get new friends. My friends right now are assholes. They aren't level-headed like me, they steal all the time. They don't ever think about other peoples feelings. Tonight after work, they wouldn't pick me up after I got off work because "they didn't want to waste gas" I'm sick of it and I've come to the point where if they ask me if I want to drop on a sack with them, I'm going to tell them no.

Weed is the only thing that has kept me hanging out with them. Our circle of friends will all drop $5 or $10 or whatever on a bag of weed almost everyday.

What should I do?I'm homeschooled now, and I'm not going back to school. It's not an option. I hate school. I don't want to become a kermit just staying home and smoking alone. That's not fun to me. I'm 16 and will be getting my licence soon.

I live in the suburbs and there's not alot of places people my age can just "go to"

Except the nearest mall is in a different part of town. Oh well.

I know what you mean man, I live in Sac and there isn't a whole lot to do here. What school would you be going to if you weren't homed?

who needz the trouble anyways ? if they're out robbin -n- thievin -n- shoplifting fuk em . -n- if .50 c in gas was only thing preventing them from comin -n- hangin w/ ya they aren't your friends anyway man . i've caught quite a few of your threads/posts -n- i personally took you for someone quite older bro. just go find some new friends that are worthy of your time or a g/f . were never too old to make new friends .

For the past 5 months, I've been coming to the reality that I have grown up quicker than them. It sucks because I can't tell other people to grow up too.

Tryin to find friends without having to go to school.

But if it isn't possible then I might go back. Or I could just wait unti I go to Community College in 1 1/2 years.

You can get by without going to school, but I think you should give it another shot considering that you want to make friends. Things might have changed since you last been to one. Youre going to be able to drive, there are tons of girls in highschool, and a million things to do if youre willing to put your neck out there.

You live in the burb's man, there has to be something you can do.

That is most likely the situation. They probably talk alot of shit about you when your not there.

I like to have different sets of friends. I try not to mix them.

I have my school friends (good kids trying to get degrees)
I have my smoker friends (good people but no degree and a low paying job)
I have my real friends (when I need to dispose of a body, I can count on these few)
I have my party friends (when I need help rounding up a piece of ass or needing to down a case of beer)

Don't mix them....and you will always have people to hang out with.

lol i went to homeschool!!!! all i did was do some school work, smoke by my self, eat, do more online school work, so yea u may say kermit but i say i was more along the lines of a hamster... I dont mind smoking by my self, i would say 90 percent of the time i smoke by my self.. although i didnt go to school i still had a few friends, never had to many girl friends because of not going to school ,but did meet alot of hookers lol!

If they don't respect you then drop em' fast. If you feel that they do care about you and would do what any friend should do then give em' a chance but broaden your horizons still. I've recently hooked up with a bunch of new mates who are very cool, actually all my stoner friends a nicer than my non stoner friends. It seems the guys I'm kickin' it with now have much higher morals and are real polite n' nice too, where as all the others just gossip, talk shit, and make life harder.

I might give them another chance. I still like to be around them when I'm high. They're my homeboys.

I finally spoke up to them last night about how fucked up they are for the first time. Maybe they change, Maybe the don't. And if they don't, then they won't ever see me again.
