Your Very, First Time(getting high)

It's been a long time since we've had one of these threads, a bunch of new members have joined, so here we are.
Retell your story (as I'm sure it's a fond memory) and read others!'
Doesn't have to be your first time high, as maybe you found your second or third time far more interesting. But you get the picture.

But anyway, one rainy Saturday night in the begginning of Christmas vacation,
my older brother (27 or 26 at the time) had a friend over. He was walking funny and joking around. And then he called my name.
Annoyed but curious I entered his room. It gets hazy around this point. I can't remember if he asked me if I wanted to take a hit or if he explained that he introduced his half sister to pot as well, or if he just haphazardly explained what was about to happen.
He told me to make a tube shape with my fists, and to be ready to inhale.
I watched as he sat down and sucked on a huge glass bong.
I think I remember thinking that I'd like to take my own hit, but it all happened so fast... After 30 seconds or so of bubbling (he takes LONNGGGGG bong hits. He can usually clear whole .5 bowls) he got up quickly and made the same shape with his own hands and placed them aligned with my own. He quickly told me to inhale as he exhaled.
THE BURN!! I had never expirienced such a coughing attack before. I thought I was going to die, I stumbled out of his room and had to of coughed for at least 15 minutes straight. He laughed. I'm pretty sure he was hammered..
He told me he had to drive his friend home but that he'll be back, his friend lived in the neighborhood.

For some reason I forgot entirely about the incident with the smoke or the coughing. The pain in my lungs subsided and I watched tv for a few minutes.
After about 10 minutes, (it's been about 30 minutes total since inhalation), he came back. He had a little more coherency than he did previously. Watching me a little closer.
We talked and joked and then....
What is this? Whats happening? This strange looseness in my knees. Walking with a loose bounce. A faint... happiness... Huh? Whats... omg... I smoked pot... I must be getting...AHHAhahahaHhaha THIS IS GREAT!!!
I acted like a complete fucking dork. Made toast with giant globs of strawberry jam on top. Ran to the kitchen for 4 glasses of water. Tried making a sandwich out partially nuked fishsticks and bologna. Laughed my ass off as my brother watched and smiled and realized the incredible effect the pot was having on me. The spirit of mary jane delivered one simple message to me that night: everything is going to be ok.

God DAMN I miss those days. I have pot smoking in my blood. Both parents were major stoners, both brothers are total potheads, I was practically destined for it. Those first 5 or 6 highs are such a mindblower! Total dream. Eyes purple as the characters in Dune. And yet I handled myself perfectly when needed.

For some reason my life started skidding out of control directly following that.
I'm not sure of the exact details of everything, but for some odd reason my crazy paranoid psycho bitch of a mother suddenly thought I was smoking pot with my brother. I DID run into one of her friends at the video store and shared a few words. I'm sure my eyes were practically bleeding thc but I didn't act too strange. I also fell in love with a girl living in my fathers neighborhood, so I assume that my constant desire to overall escape that bitches' torment and stay at my fathers house were making her even more psycho.

I remember probably my last time smoking with my brother... the next morning I was still totally baked and we went adventuring by a river with bb gun that day... But then I got a very oddly urgent call from my father telling us to head home, that something... was off...
Suddenly, paranoia. Being around sane people really started making me understand just how traumatizing and fucked up my insane mother was.
Whats going on here? Everything went down hill. I suppose you could say this was my only "bad trip" with weed. I felt like a man awaiting the electric chair. I was shaking in fear by the time I got home.
But then survival instincts kicked in and I swiftly managed to get the fuck out of there and head to a friends.
I felt so horrible though, I had to spend an hour or two just laying in their bed trying to calm down.

Turns out the only reason I wasn't being skinned alive was because she was saving all that nastiness for later, when it could all blindside me along with the rest of her usual you-suck dialogue.

You people with families... that aren't splintered into tiny peices...

You don't realize how lucky you are.

I think the only time I've ever felt truly happy was at a friends house.
When I almost felt part of their family. There was always someone to talk to. Big family. That feeling... I would give every limb, every material posession, everysingle thing i've ever owned, to have that feeling again.

dune was a good movie. sorry to hear about ur mom, my dads a fucking loser. he acts nice to me and buys me shit. but wont help my mom pay of dental or medical or nothing. he told my mom. Im pretty sure it was Sophmore year and also kinda weird like you Inferius it was Christmas Break. Cause it was snowy and really cold as I remember.

There were 3 of us. And we were at my friend 'Z's house. There was also my other friend 'A' who ive known for-fucking-ever. It was my first and there about 3rd-5th time doin it. We made two bowls. One a standard noob Plastic Water Bottle but it was filled with ice water. And some other sort of contraption I dont remember.

We waited till about 12 or so. Went out on the back porch and Z was showin me how to hit it while usin the shotgun and not spill water. All the while he was showin me A was puffin away on his own in the corner that bastard! As we were hittin it a couple times, havin a cough attack sorta. It was super cool hit though the water was almost Ice and we didnt put ice in! It was really cold out.

After we finished we stopped. I was kinda like ok, im cold but feel weird. The backyard kinda got a little wavey and we went inside.

Now, as I said A was takin hits on his own while I took a couple. A was really baked and mind you, we were on a 3 stair high porch. And we had to 'help' A down the stairs lol.

As we got inside though we went into Z's room and he got super paranoid about his parents wakin up. He told us to goto bed and I was just layin on his floor and feelin really cool. I was seein colors inside his dark room and then he turned his T.V on so we would stfu. Watchin Dave Chapelle was hilarious.

But not soon after I fell asleep and I dont know if I was really high, or it was just me thinkin it but after that I couldnt stop!

Alright, first my reasoning as to why I did it:

In October '04, I got my first gf (woes of being a nerd, I'm 16 at this time) and things are going great... for a time.

The usual drama happens, she returns 0 emotions in the relationship so I start feeling really, really depressed over it (first gf, leave me alone :p )

So I've had some pothead friends for years now, never truly considered doing it myself though. However, being so into politics as I am I had an opinion on the war on drugs for a while *how much it sucks* and finally decided to read up on the drug itself.

I had been getting drunk since November '04 (which started due to doing it accidentally <<) and I realized pot wasn't as bad as alcohol. Not caring about laws, I told my friends I was smoking that weekend with them. This was late February '05

So I smoked a few bowls with them out in the woods. I had been drinking, and suffice to say, I got really messed up. I ended up laying halfway out a window for 'fresh air' as I put it, the window was facing the street >>

I realized, in my inebriated state, that my gf wasn't worth it, and I should break it off and slowly heal that way. So that week I did so. Felt bad at first but I got better and had a great Spring that year, especially going out every weekend smoking :jointsmile:

Things have gone up and down from there, pot has its upsides and downsides, but I've learned to control it and I feel great.

Back when I first smoked I was12, my friend snagged about 4 grams of Oregon medical bud from his family's Handyman/painter (Recently my friend told me he had a freezer bag full and the handyman just gave my friend a hand full) who recently shattered his ankle. It was like 6 or 7 big nugs almost white from the crystals. We blazed and I didn't feel anything, 2nd bowl and right after the first hit it hit me like a sack of rocks. This was probably the strongest indica I have ever smoked to this day. We got some cup of noodles and just chilled on the couch for 2 hours. We got up smoked more then saved the rest for the next day.

Pot head since that day forward.

First time. Summer of 1999. I was a life guard. I bought a joint from a friend. Well, I bought the weed, he rolled it and brought it to me. I waisted $20. He showed me how to smoke it, because I didn't wanna not get stoned. And I didn't get fucking stoned. I smoked the whole damn thing. It was good shit (he got a buzz off the one hit he took to show me). I got nothig. I was pissed.

Then. My SO (significant other) got some from a co-worker. In April of last year, he and I toked :jointsmile:. And I got a buzz. I didn't smoke much cause it was the middle of the day with 2 kids at home. And that started it all!!

i was just about to make this thread.



my first time was so fucking fun. we were chillin in the park, listening to music, and smoking an OZ. i was acting like we were in world of warcraft, and i was yelling at old people. we got tons of food, and i kept thinking my other friend was with us, but he wasnt. then these two chicks came over and i started making out with one of their legs. it was fucking weird.

now i dont like to bother people, i just talk alot and chill.

My first time was in this secret spot by this shopping center. Each one of my friends had a joint 2 with exotics and 2 with some other stuff but we didn't know which one had which. Me and my friend got really high and my two other friends were like, normal high. I thought I was dreaming and shit. My other friends dad came down to the spot looking for my friend and he saw the joints but didn't care, then we finished them and went to the pizza place and before we got there my friends ran in but I was just walking and I saw my friends dad go in the side entrance so im like "Guys, noooooo!!!!" and then I just laughed. I walked into the pizza place and I slapped myself to see if i was dreaming... the guy was like "if you're goin' to hit yourself then go outside" i was so obviously blazed I was like like "uh-huh". I've been there on DXM so the guy was used to me acting retarded. Anyway, after that I don't even remember, I think we went to the park and started a bon fire lol. I'm stoned now, sorry if that didnt make sense.

I remember my first time vividly. I had asked about weed and my friend, now outdoor grower, was talking about how her fam was going to start growing. I was like "chill, save me some". I call her Jamfry, she hates the name, but I love it. So Jamfry and I went to the falls behind our school and she rolled a blunt. I coughed and all the stuff. It was all good b/c I caught on to how to inhale and all that good stuff. I remember getting mad at first b/c I wasn't feeling anything. Then all of a sudden I stood up and it hit me. I felt like I couldn't stop talking about philosophical things and I felt like every step I had taken was like a flicker of a camera or something. I'm not sure how to explain. But my vision was like in flashes. It freaked me out and I asked about it. And Jamfry laughed and said "it's that trippy shit" I only felt like that a few times, but when I do, it's the shit. I'm still looking for that weed.

my first time was uhh i cant rember, but i do remeber my 2ed time i was at home and i had just recently found my dad's stash so i took and 8 chunk and went back inside to find my pipe i had bought 2 months be4 smokin the sweet maryjane and i blazd in my room it was so hot boxed and i only had a thin blanket as a door and it smelt like dope all over the house but i didnt care and my sis walked in my room and said to me, "it smells like aunty bonnies house in here" lol so trippy cuz i knew why, well theres my story, ttyl happy tokin fellow tokin bros

It was spring but it felt like summer.

Myself and a friend of myselve's (mine) (henceforth known as the Mexican) stayed in town after school instead of taking the bus back to the Boonies.
We went to Subway, where we saw one of our good friends, who happens to be a super-stoner.
After chowing down and hanging out for a while, the most recent addition to our trio asked us if we wanted to smoke a joint.
We had been talking about it for a while, and now it was really going to happen.

So we went back behind the local mall.
I remember the sun glaring down on us, so we went around the corner.
He cracks out a well rolled spliff from a baggie of two and proceeds to light up.
After the first couple of passes I learn that (of course) I'm not inhaling properly. The next thing I know I'm on the ground coughing like the little girl I one day aspire to be.
"Heh. Heh. Virgin lungs." the experienced toker teases.
A few more passes and the Jay is finished. The Mexican suggests so eloquently that we light up that second marijuana-stick.
"Really?" says the guy, surprised.

So anyway FAST FORWARD a few minutes.

I didn't get high. I suppose the Mexican did, or he was just being paranoid (more likely). Well, we were walking to the local skate park to do some BMXing when the Mexican's FATHER drives by.
I'm like "Haha! Mexico, your dad just drove by!"
And he's all like "No fucking way. Not funny."
A few more minutes of quibbling about the presence of his father, when we meet him in the parking lot up ahead.

"No. No! I can't do this!" says the Mexican.
So I do the talking without problem (I'm an acquaintance of his father, we get along good making fun of him and how he's Mexican (Everyone else in his family is white as a sheet, so we call him Mexican because... he looks Mexican. No offense, my Mexican friends. (Okay, the word "Mexican" is starting to lose all meaning.))).
It turns out that the Mexican's mother told the father to pick us up since he was going to be in town.
I told him that we needed to get a project done at school, and I'd get my Mom to pick us up (as the Mexican hides behind the StoneMaster).
We continue our quest to the BMX park where we spend a couple hours.
I call my mom to pick us up, and she does so woefully.
The ride home was quiet.

Haha thats a pretty good story. Well heres mine.

Well first of all, I would like to say that i diddnt start blazin because of peer pressure. I started to blaze because i was always hatin on potheads. And one day i finally thought to myself, why am i hatin on something that i know nothing about. So i talked to my friend at school and he said that he would get me high. So after school one day, my friend copped a half 8th of some of the flamest shit in town and we rolled up the whole think into a blunt. I got baked out of my mind. I drove him home. Surprisingly i drove very good for getting blazed for the first time. And then i went over to my other friends house. And some weird shit happened. When i was walking up the stairs to his appt. it felt like i had walked up 50 stairs. that stairway is only 19 stairs. So i thought that it was kinda funny. And then when i was talking to him i had been telling this long story and then in the middle of it my mind just went blank. and to this day i dont remember what i was taking about. Well everything was a little hazy for a while and i left his house. I had stopped by mcdondalds earlier before i went to my friends house but forgot about it. When i left i went by wendys After that i went home to eat it. All i remember after that was that i lied down on my bed and started eating my burger. I took about 2 bites of it and fell asleep. When i woke up my meal was gone. I guess i ate it. Well anyways my mcdondalds sat in my car until the next morning when i got in it to drive to school. It smelled fucking horrible. But i laughed about it.

And that day i realized that all this time i was hatin on potheads for doing nothing. Weed is more natural than beer. It is harmless. It doesn't have any potential for overdosing either. My life diddnt go down the tube after that either. It just simply started moving in a different direction. And even though some things have gone wrong i wouldn't do anything differently if i had the chance. Because Weed doesn't ruin lives. Bad choices do. And as long as you know right from wrong. Then thain smoking weed is just fine.

i'll keep it short-ish... it's nothing really fancy

my 13th birthday (yup, on my 13th birthday i got the greatest gift ever, an introduction to mary jane.) after some thought, and curiosity, i asked a friend if he would be able to get weed, cuz i wanted to try it.. (i honestly didn't know he smoked it) and he said 'yeah, c'mon i'll take you to a friends house right now' so we go, and it's this sexy as fuck chick, i later found out she was 23 and she was a stripper! :D so we put on some music (korn's follow the leader cd) and she rolls up a joint (lol she had just started learning how and she sucked at it, i mean they were smokable, but her rolling only put about 3/4 of an inch of weed in the middle, the rest all fell out and she had to poke it all in) and when it comes to me, i turn it down... cuz it was early in the day and i didn't want my grandma to know... i was scared.. my friend makes me feel like complete shit for it.. and the chick is like 'hey leave him alone <name> if he doesn't want to smoke he doesn't have to' and she winked at me and smiled... so i end up going home... few hours later, when i know my grandma will be going to bed soon, and our house will be darker (the house we had at that time always had shit-poor lighting...) i call him up, and tell him to meet me at the drive way to his apartments.. i get there and i'm like, ok dude i'm ready, any chance you can get her to smoke again? he says ' i'm not taking you if you're gonna pussy out like that again' and i tell him i'm not, and explain how i'm afraid of being caught by my grandma and remind him of how dark my house gets at night... so he takes me up to her apartment and we go in, they had just lit a joint... so he laughs and says 'he wants to smoke now' so she's like really? cool! sit down... and it goes around, goes to my friend, he coughs out his fucking hit like a little bitch (if i could go back i woulda made HIM feel like shit, i mean i understand you're going to cough, but you shoulda seen him, he nearly puked, he was gasping for air and his face was red lol) and it comes to me, at this point i had been smoking cigs for 7 years, so i have a pretty damn good idea of how to smoke, they told me how to smoke (not thinking i was a smoker) and i told them how long i'd been smoking, and they're like 'ok this isn't like cigs you have to hold the smoke in for it to work' so i'm like cool... so i start hitting it... most beautiful taste ever.. i mean i became instantly infatuated with it... couple more rounds and the joint is finished (6 people smoking i believe) and i'm fucking flying higher then nasa could go.. lol i shoulda been like in another galaxy... then comes the parts i hated... if i could go back i woulda slapped myself and told me to sit the fuck down... but i get up, and start chasing these 3 mother fucking flies in the house... they're laughing at me... lol... i didn't feel bad though.. those flies were pissing me off, they kept landing on me... and it lands on the floor... right next to the baby (yes there was a baby in the room.. i would personally never do that -now- becasue of my morals, but back then i guess you could say i didn't really know better... anyways i swat the fly (and finally kill one! :D) but it was 'relatively' close to the baby (who was just sitting there by the way, not like he'd accidently run into it, i still had my wits about me) about 6 inches away from him, then they all start (except for my friend) freaking out on me "you almost hit him! blah blah blah" i tried to tell them i was well aware of what i was doing, and if i thought there was a risk i coulda hit him, i wouldn't have swatted the fly... they always hated me after that and wouldn't let me come back anymore...

a side note on the baby thing, they even got him high... looking back on it... it kinda makes me sick..

i wish i remembered. it was in the summer going into eigth grade. we all baked my friends toolshed and sat in his hot tub. we were lifting each other up cause it felt like u were going WAY WAY up in the sky to the moon. it was fun as hell but i dont remember details.

ONTO MY FIRST TIME WITH SOME GANGA!

Well first off I like got really interested like 3 years ago, I dont know why but I must have just felt like being a rebel or something. I then talked my buddy into doing it with me, we then told his brother we needed a so called "Dime". I had no idea what it was, all I knew was I wanted to get high.

So a week later I get the "Dime" it was like 2 smalls bowls and we smoked it out of a Aluminum Pipe I made... We smoked right next door in plain view of houses but we didnt care, I remember asking like a million times if I was high, then I eventually found out I was high. We then thought we had the munchy's so we went inside. We were acting insane, my buddy was eating a banana and it was all over the floor and he was laughing with it falling out of his mouth. Me and his brother started kicking him and saying funny stuff trying to get him to laugh his ass off... lets put it this way.. it worked.

But other then that everything is a blur, as I started smoking pot ALOT more often. :rastasmoke: :stoned:

What cool stories!

My first time was in freshman year of high school, a week before spring break, a small town in Iowa. My friend convinced me I should smoke some weed so at around midnight him, another friend, and I bought a g of what turned out to be "blueberry" weed. I smoked in his room which had this really fucked-up cieling that tilted in all directions, and another friend had drawn a big face of a sun on one of the walls. Anyways, I was like "no I don't feel anything guys", then a few minutes later I was laughing uncontrollably, so much so I fell on the floor and my sides started hurting, but I couldn't stop laughing. I seem to remember compulsively moving about and eventually staring at a big plastic coin i found for a few years. Finally I got really hungry and ate the most delicous microwaved frozen pumpkin pie i'd ever had. The next day at school I swear I still felt high as fuck!

Last year, a few weeks before Christmas I decided I would give weed one more try. I had smoked weed many times before, but it just didn't seem to work out for me. I really just wanted to feel what it was like. So I ask one of my friends to get some from his cousin and within a few days he did. It was friday so right after school me and my other friend (who pitched in to buy the bag) went to his house and we just kept smoken. We smoked so much and it was so snowy outside. I went in the house lied on the couch and said wow still nothing. Then boom it hit me and the rest is history.
