Disproving god

(take in concideration that everyone had there own point-of-views, so not to start a angry arguement with a really religus pot head)

"god" is dead, we have killed him

i can disprove god, he is asposed to be omi-potiant correct?. so would it be posible for him to create a rock that is unmovible? no because he is all powerfull and would be able to move it, so by theory the god complex is just a mumbo jumbo thing implanted in our brain, and if you really think about it all religion does is seperate people. concidering half the wars in humanity is over this single powerfull "god", and all others are "demons" in there eyes. its pretty shamefull, why cant we all just smoke a blunt and chill?

Half of all wars? Can you name some of these wars?

cuz not everyone wants to get high.. humans wouldnt be here today if it wer not for faith in something that has complete control over you , wheter you want to know or do not. GOD LOVEs YOU..

Ive had many of days wher god is they only one to turn to. and im still here today.. so if i did not have god...

Why spend so much time trying to sway another to your point of view, whether you do or don't believe. Just do what you do and leave it at that.

Seeking enlightenment is the only reason to state your views, but there are more efficient methods to go about this, and certainly more courteous ways.

Your only recourse seems to be to push religious beliefs onto people so you can tell us why they're flawed. I'm not religious. I practice no faith whatsoever. But that doesn't mean I can't be a complete asshole if I want to. I find your idea to be a dramatic oversimplification fit only for the simple minded.

how can you arrive at atheism by purely intellectual means? at some point in the quest for spiritual identity you run out of facts. long before you can come to any decision on the existence of god you find that reason alone is not enough. eventually you must rely on faith!

Im a full blown athiest dont believe in anything at all was raised that way and i would'nt have it any other way. well, it is impossible to disprove god completley. God's whole existance is illogical. So disproving him by logic and science is possible, but it can't truly disprove him. for believing in god is a faith, not a science.

And here I thought that WWI was fought because of strategic alliances and the assassination of the Archduke. The French Revolution I thought was the result of an imbalance between the economic conditions of the French nobility and landowning class, and the poorer, farming peasants. Spanish conquest, I thought that was about expansion and resources, in that way it was similar to the wars fought against the native americans over land in northern america.

Here I thought most wars involved the pursuit of power in its various forms, but I find I was wrong and that religion is in fact the cause of all human suffering. Man, I wasted so much time actually studying history. Imagine how much shorter all the books could be. Perhaps even short enough that someone with the modern attention span could stand to read them.

Right... I'll give you the crusades, but even that is probably over-generous.

Maybe you should get your facts from real sources instead of biased christian-based groups/people that twist the facts till they're unrecognizeable. If you really believe you're right about god, fair enough.... BUT, don't tell us we're wrong because you get all your information from incredibly biased and ignorance sources. At least go study some atheists websites and books, then you can confidently say you've listened to the counter arguments to the ones supporting your beliefs, and they still held up. I'm not even going to bother taking apart the numerous logical flaws in your post, I've disproven them a few thousand times too many.

religion is based on the concept of "the one and only truth". in that respect ALL RELIGIONS ARE BAD. they create an elite group of "believers" who, knowing the "truth", are "chosen" or "saved". given that starting point, how could you expect the result to be anything other than warfare, enslavement, segregation etc. all in the name of that "truth".
