They're obviously not going to go after your junk, but they will feel your pockets, around your waistband, and anywhere non-personal that you might be able to stash something. They can also ask you to take off your shoes. Law enforcement are the only folks who can forcibly frisk you, but everything else is voluntary. You "volunteer" to be frisked coming into a concert by trying to get in. You can opt out of your frisk by skipping the concert. The same works with drug testing clinics, in that, if you don't want to be frisked, you have the "option" of not taking the drug test, and therefore, not getting the job. Unfortunately, it's all semantics. :(
