not eating when not smoking

ayone else here have the same probem as me?

when i stop smoking for more than say....i dunno 8 hours i find it hard to eat,
i dont get it really its like now i havent eaten much in about 2 days and i got a spag bowl right in front of me and ive had 2 mouth-fulls and feel like im gonna be sick.....even if it tastes looks and smells great i just find it hard to actualy eat it, its like once ive had thse 2 mouthfulls im like whooo thats enoutgh,

just wondered if anyone else gets that? its really wierd cos like once a week ill proper have a major munch down and scoff a whole tin of buiscuits or a whole pack of jam wagon wheels,...or more liek when i ahve a joint....then ill be on a major munch but if im not smoking i dont seem to able to hack it:confused:

I actually have the same problem. I don't know why. It kind of sucks. My body actually gets really fucking hungry, but my brain just won't let me eat anything or I feel like puking.But when I smoke, I can eat A lot of just about anything. I don't think I have anorexia or any eating disorder like that, but it's still weird.

nail on the head mate bang on, yeah exactly its like im hungary stomach rumbling n all but then 2 mouthfulls n thats it.

chisme, I got a question for you, during the period where you don't eat as much because you are not high, do you ever get full? I never have this problem myself, but im curious.

Yep...it's that munchie thang...we get the good cravings when buddha is on our shoulder...then when he bails - our heads say where's buddha instead of where's food.

Thats rough, whens the last time you gave the green a 24 or 48 hour break? I think your mind is just used to eating when you get the muncies and no other time.
Whatever it is thats no good, hopfully there is no underlying medical problem with your tummy/

i havent smoked right now in 2-3 days. its only when i do smoke i can handle a whole meal,


and wot if with you lot and the crack? seriously are YOU ALL mentally addicted to crack or sumthing ? seems like half the people on these boards are incapable of a proper dicussion. :(

yeah it kinda freaks me out cos of that stomach ulcer thing the doc said i nearly had from eating at the wrong time of day,

If you are taking any medications they could be causing the effect, it happened to me when I was perscribed adderal, I wouid go a week without eating

Thats what poped into my head. I think i have one that is growing, and i feel like that randomly but only sometimes, I wonder if you have a more advanced one?

yeah well the doc before said i shouldnt have those types of symptoms uness i was like 43+ she said it was more then likely from smoking in the mornings before eating anything and smoking too much between meals, or just plain smoking way too much way too fast...something about smoking building up stomach acids n what not. but i mean this fels driffrent because i ahvent been smoking in the last 2-3 daysso i dunno its just weird.

I havent smoked in 2 days, last night I couldnt sleep, and its 6pm here and I havent eaten all day, nor am I hungry.

I think I might have that same problem.. .
The day after i have a really good session, I can go all day with out eating. I know that I am hungry (I'm a bit on the larger side), I get the stomach growns and the craving but I just dont want to eat. even if im in the process of getting food, lets say fast food, just looking at the food and smelling it makes me not so hungry anymore. But as soon as I toke it up I can eat like theres no tomorrow. I figure its cause my body is use to eating while i am :stoned: so when I am not my mind doesn't feel like it. Plus I tend to eat a good amount when I am :stoned:

see theis is fucked up because recently i haven't been ejoying food as much when im stoned altho after ive reached my peak and its on its way down thats a good time to eat lol

yeah dude i have the same problem, if i wake up and dont smoke im not hungry for the entire day until i smoke. The only time i wanna eat is right after i smoke.

it only happens for like a week after i've run out of my stash.. then it's back to normal, i don't quite eat as much, but i eat enough for it to be normal eating habbits.

It happens even when I have been smoking. I've never been a big eater, my old meds use to make me eat though, and so does weed. I have never touched crack and stopped doing coke a while ago. I think smoking might just help whatever my porblem seems to be. It really does suck. oh and I haven't smoked for I think 3 or 4 days and I have only eaten maybe 2 meals.....

I think you've pretty much nailed it there. I'm going through the same thing right now in fact. Massive sesh last night, hungry as fuck right now but as soon as I walk down to the food court near my work, I find that i'm not really feeling any of the food I see, even stuff I really love like chilli chicken pasta(yum!). Even when I buy it and have it out in front of me, after two or three mouthfuls it just feels like a chore to finish the rest. Maybe mentally somewhere I need a bit of a kick from the ganj to get my body back into eating mode.

Normally the thing that works for me is to wait it out a bit and take a 2 or 3 day split from the ganj, and my apetite and eating patterns tend to go back to normal.

I find that I can be starving hungry, and only eat half a sandwitch, and be feeling realy sick and its like I have a tiny stomach or somthing. Ive also lost quite a bit of weight due to it. I was thinking of going to doctors about it but im not registered, so i couldnt be bothered lol.:jointsmile:

IDK man, Maybe you do smoke some laced shit, are you always getting it from the same dealer? I mean I eat 6 meals a day(but i weight lift.)

lol its nothing to do with laced weed mate as its a long term problem,

Hmm, 6:08 am here, Im sober as fuck and no sleepin. I gotta go to work soon. This is day 3 of no smoking, and day 2 of no sleeping.

I get like that sometimes, but not from not smoking. Sometimes i can go for a couple of days without food... but still be smoking.. and other's i'll be starving all day.

I just eat when im hungry otherwise i dont bother.

I never have breakfast anyway, or lunch normally.

im suprised im not some fat peice of prick with all the shit i eat, plus im always on my ass

Think of it like appetite tolerance.
You get stoned and you have this huge insatiable appetite,
and then after a while,
you dont get stoned and your appetite is missing but your body still physically craves food.

Personally I really like this effect.
Keeps the jiggle monster away.

The same thing happens to me. I smoked every day all day over Christmas vacation. Little over three weeks. First day of school I woke up and couldn't eat. I tried to have some soup but after a few bites I burped some of it up.

And I had trouble sleeping the first night or too.


But it does go away my friend. Your eating habits will start balancing out. Its now Thursday and I was able to put some actual meals down today.
