Heres a little something I thought of that could happen, but I'm 95% sure it won't.
There are two types of Asian culinary that the mass of American's likes. Japanese chicken and Chinese chicken. Chicken is the main source of Asia's cookery in the United States. The following paragraphs detail what will happen if we continue to buy the chicken.
Here we have the Japanese chicken. Mainly people will buy Teryaki chicken. The more we buy this chicken, the more money that is sent to Japan. With this newly acquired money, the Japanese will have the profit required to advance into new technology. They may use it for everyday appliances, they may use it for making video games. They may use it to fund the development of their military. If they use it for the appliances and video games, other countries will buy from them, and make new alliances. Everyone will love them for their contributions, and bring world peace even to the harshest of nations. On the other hand, they might build their military, and fund research of new weapons. They may demand us to surrender, or they will blow our nation to pieces. Now having the largest world power out, they can focus on Europe and the rest of Asia. Most likely there will be a World War III, eventually leading to the end of humankind.
Now is the Chinese Chicken theory. Buying the many variaties of Chinese chicken such as General Tso's and Honey Chicken, they will raise almost twice the money as Japan. With the money, they will fund Communism as a new world order. They will bribe other large communist nations such as Russia to form an Alliance. With extra money leftover, they will fund the creation of more powerful WMD's, and even weapons to be used from outer space. George W. Bush will get information from spies telling of this, and being the war hungry machine he is, he will demand these nations to stop. China and Russia will now be rich in WMD's, that they are ready to start a new world order. Obviously, they won't stop production, and George W. Bush will fall into their trap. He will gather other nations to help him, and declare war on the Communist Alliance. Soon after the war is declared, the Alliance nukes all target nations of the Anti-Communism Alliance. Since this will clear the world of the most powerful nations, the Communist Alliance is now ready to start their new world order.
Of course this isn't going to happen, but it should've been fun to read and think about. Enjoy =)
