Heres My New Room With a Couple Questions

Well heres my new room... Im wondering sinceno eyes besides mine have even seen this Im hoping to maybe get some info from the smart GREEN THUMBS on here.... I have seen some amazing things on this site and I am hoping that I too can be a contributer to all these tastey pics on here.....

I do know of 1 thing that I am lacking as of right now and thats a good digital thermostat that will not allow a 10 degree difference as the one i have does now..... any suggestions on a thermostat that can be wired to 2 normal household power outlets?? right now my room will go between a max of 82 degrees Celcius and a min of 73 degrees Celcius....

Any Help will be much appreciated.... thanks for ur time Ill be posting pics as she fills up with my princess'

Use an inline voltage tempstat! That will be the ticket! It can be wired with the fan.Intake or exhaust,or both.You would need 2.It's 120VAC.

Well here we finally go.... Im on 24 hours now for the next couple weeks since i have just transplanted my babies......2 days in seeing a lil stress but my Girls will be A-OK

just posting a lil update.... and i forgot to mention even what these beatiful little princess' even are..... there are 7 Chernobyl....7 Diesel.... and 6 Pink Kush....all now under 1000hps

How r we looking??? id say i got my stress from the move from CFL's to HPs not too bad...the last 3 days WOW.....some nice growth any comments...suggestions or even hates or dislike please lets hear them.....i wann hear it if you dont mind...thanks

The scrubber I did make myself didnt take too long too my longer to figure out how to do it tho.... I should have just looked them up on here, I see there is 100s of do yourself scrubbers in threads all over.... As per the ghetto cage fan which are u talking about??? the exhaust setup???? or the intake setup???? ha ha u could mean my ingenious air deflector right on the top of the intake??? wanna elaborate?? how can i fix it??? any suggestions?

Well they're doing superb so far had one day of droopy leave here was the pics that day... This was 3 days b4 I was planning to go to 12/12 so I waited another day on top of the 3....

I'm now on 12/12 and look at them go!!! I was planning on taking out my 400Mh, but why?? they are loving the HPS and Mh... A little trickier for the temp but i think i got it figured... I never did hear a good thermostat to use, any suggestions on a good digital programable thermostat i could wire to normal power outlets???

Another question, is there a pointwhen the leaves are so defined and large that it may be telling me something i havent considered???
Or, are the just soo happy???

That was what you said! I did give you a great suggestion! A TEMPSTAT is a thermometer that plugs in the wall socket or is wired in line! It has a piggy back plug on it to plug a fan into.It can be used for heating or cooling.They come wired to be used for heating.All ya gotta do is swap a wire!

BTW - i do like one of the earlier pictures with droopy leaves.. it is obvious the plants are vey thirsty... thenin the next pictures, the plants are PERKY and WE can tell they got water.. I love that stuff!!

I use the elcheepo digis from WalMart, no special brand, or I have even had good success with the old fassion glass and Merc ones. Keep up the good work.

Nice setup too man. My scrubber looks sorta ghetto compared to yours, but I have a lot less smell to worry about too. :jointsmile: That and I'm using 2 fucking plastic pots for 4-6" reducers. Ha ha...

Your plants look like they love whatever you're doing to them though, keep it up!

I know what you mean about the low replies. I wanted to scream at the people watching my thread and not saying anything. But hay I guess there isn't much to tell me. I feel alot better after reading your thred though. The plants are looking very happy.

if not this will help keep them the same size and give them equal light.

im not really moving them daily, but when watering they get shuffled around....

as for the scrubber its my home made carbon filter the ugly black filter attatched to my exhaust...just look up how to buil a srubber u'll find it...its used just to keep the sweet smell all to myself... dont wanna share the goods now!!

just curious, how is the carbon scrubber handling 20 plants?

the scrubber keeps up good i saw one bad thing when i was inspecting it and it was the light from in the room basically....you could not see it with out your eye right up in the vent but DAM i never would have thought....i mean i am using metal tubing not flexhose and my joints are all taped....

ok let me get this right. you are seeing light at the exhaust coming out of the room itself. If so all you would need to do is put in a 90 degree elbow or two inline and the light wont be seen. light wont bend around corners. you will actually be creating a turning corner in your exhaust. im going by your first picture of the room. also you might want to paint the inside of the exhaust tube black nearing the end of it. hope this helps

Flat black paint is the best. Even on black pvc. :jointsmile:
