Is my plant ready to harvest?!?!

hi guys, second grow nearly over. this time it has been bubbleicious which i topped once then lst'd once in flower and i must say the results are amazing!!! five big heads/colas and about ten small diddy ones!!! also been using SB planti invigirator to help get rid of spider mites and i have to say it worked!!! first time trying this product, mites killed last grow and this one is mega healthy!!! (apart from where my light burnt it yesterday!) so i would recomend this product as a mites pesticide any day!!!

now onto the reason i posted. looking at the pictures here... is my plant ready?! its been about nine weeks and it has to go ASAP as the cops have been sniffing around! any ideas lemme know guys!

Your plant looks good. I'd hold off just a little longer before you harvest, if you can. It looks as though your pistils could get a bit darker and those resin glands could swell up some more. Peace.

Yah man, the trichs still look pretty clear/cloudy to me, I'd give it a week. Plus, all the hairs look mostly white. I dunno though, 9 weeks it should be getting pretty damn close. You could always chop off a small preview nug and dry it out and test it to see what you think. Sexy beast, btw

i tried some a couple of days ago and it was good... really good! jus need someone to say yes and i'll harvest but dont wanna do it too soon....

you went months taking care of this plant, you want this plant to be at its best, why shoot yourself in the foot now and harvest it, i would wait about 3 more days maybe even a week then chop her.

I agree, I think it could use another week or so, but if the cops are sniffing around, it is definitely better to harvest early than get your plant taken away completely AND go to jail. Depends really on if you think you can safely let it grow for another week, good luck!!

well i harvested and sampled it, nice smoke, smooth and good happy sativa high so thumbs up all round. few harvest pics for you all, it weighs about 8 ounces wet, any ideas what weight that will dry down to?

It shouldn't lose more than half its weight. So at least 4 oz man, maybe more. Damn fine looking buds, you should be proud :D

you will end up with about 2oz dried and cured.

i usaly loose about 50-60% of the weight durring drying and curing

I'd say you'll lose 75-85%, so like Invision says - 2 ounces.

yes, I always count on at least 70% loss during drying, so from 60-70g is your end result, very nice; that string of green looks like christmas stockings!
