called 911 this morning

so i'm laying down, about to sleep (3-4am)
and i hear this noise. it's a person.
i listen, and they're SCREAMING!
"help, someone call 911, somebody please help"
This goes on for about 2 min until i stop listening
and call the 5-0.
i tell them where i think the screams are coming from,
and hope they help the person in trouble,
while i continue to painfully listen to hair raising screams
long story short,
i go downstairs, open my door and listen ( live in rowhome)
then, the person that was screaming actually comes outside
and continues to scream for someone to call 911.
she didn't see me, and i go inside, but wait by the window
to give a few min for the cops to come, during this time
NO OTHER NEIGHBOR goes outside, no lights go on, etc.
thankfully, cops drive by while she is outside
i listen to the convo and it's her son that is
"messing" with her-- her son claims the mom was drunk,
while the mom claims to have been asleep while the son
came home. cops basically do nothing, and leave (no evidence??)-- officer's
last words to her "i hope i don't have to come back tonight"

i go up to my room, try to go to sleep again (thinking i won't be able to)
and what do i hear? MORE SCREAMING!
once again, screaming for someone to help,
screaming "why are you doing this?! stop fighting/biting(?) me! somebody help!"
i call 911 AGAIN!
same cops show up and i listen in to the convo once again
from my window. this time, the mom says she was being choked by
him ( which i believe, b/c i heard the screams)
they don't apprehend him or ANYTHING!
they tell the mom to get a restraining order on him,
but the mom refuses to go back inside her OWN HOME
b/c she is scared of her son
her next door neighbor comes outside and tells them to resolve it
b/c she can't sleep (all in front of the cops) and that the son should
go to his g'mas home. the neighbor DOESNT EVEN mention the screaming done
by the mom. the kid is telling his mom to get back inside, but
the mom is fearing that he will actually kill her and tells the cops this.
after 15 min or so of standing around, mom pleading w/ cops to do something,
the kid leaves with his friend (just walks away, the friend says he can spend the night)
and his last words to his mom are "fuck you" and "YOU FUCKING BITCH"
he screams this as he is 100 ft away, but still IN FRONT of the cops.
so what do the cops do? they get in the car and drive away


and now i'm confused. did the cops do the right thing? was it nothing to worry about? is this justice? is this safety? WHAT THE FUCK!!

no the cops were being lazy, the woman is probably know to the police so they dont want to help her, thats the way it is aroung hear anyway.

thats totaly fucked up... i mean poor young samwhore gets arrested for some pot, but the same girl keeps calling for the cops, and they just drive away... and then yesterday, i almost got arrested, because i was out side after 6 oclock(its some court order bull shit, that i cant be out after 6 PM. with out some one whos 18{but i did have some one with me over the age of 18} but i was just walking to the place were they had stoped me at to check my cell messages{dont get servis in my house} GOD DAMN.... I mean, not exactly the same, but my friend was fighting with his girlfriend (They live together) and the cops got called on them... just as the cops walk in he pushes her (She didn't press charges, they were just having a normal "fight" if you wanna call fights normal)

Long story short he got the shit beat out of him, including one of the cops slamming his face into a clock. Broke the glass and everything.

And yet they do something like this. People tell me I need to respect police but I rarely ever see them doing good things, and it makes me angry >:(

I know for a fact that i can punch my mom and not go to jail.
IF i were to punch my gf on the other hand...
I know this is not always the case. But the system is based on magical rules that i sometimes fail to understand.

The screaming woman was more of a neighbor nuisance than the son.
They can only arrest if someone is willing to file a complaint or commits a crime.

If the woman was so fearful she could have went with cops back to the station and filed a complaint and an OoR.

At least you called the cops.
And if it keeps up, keep calling....then they'll both be cited for disturbing the peace.

woman who was screaming was willing to press charges
the only thing the cops sugested was a restraining order
for the NEXT DAY

and for whoever asked, i live in philly
maybe it's b/c she was black...
how many screams does it take t be taken seriously w/ the cops

this event really made me ponder about what my neighbors would do if MY house was getting robbed...

or how about the eppisode where they drove past 43rd st and pacific ave, in tacoma washington, and getting to see my grandma going to work(its were i used to live) i was like wholy shit... thats my grandmas car... thats my grandmas car... then they pulled her over, and found 10 grams of meth hidden in her ass... and 20 grams of coke hidden in her vagina, and about 40 bottles of moon shine in her trunk(no.... all the coke meth, and moon shine was not really found...) but they did go right by her, on her way to work...

haha speakin of cops, i was leavin my schools bball game to go drink some more last night, and as i was walkin to my friends truck a cop all of a sudden comes up to me and was like" woahhh hold on there son" i was like ooohhh fuck... but then another cop came by and said" no its not the guy" hahah fuckin scared me sober right htere...had to go drink and smoke some more after that to calm my nerves! ahah
