i never really had any dirrection (there was a thread like this before just so you know ;)) maybe when i was like 4-6 i wanted to be a cop, but that was about it... i never really wanted to be anything when i grew up.. which is why i think i am nothing now.. i didn't have a dream to shoot for, or something to try and become... alli cared about was getting older... and you know.. now that i have a kid... i want it to stop.. cuz the years are flying by, like on the time machine when he gets in but gets knocked out, and the years are just flying by... that's how i feel.. i feel like i'm sitting there watching everything fly by me...
i feel the same way,
shit it was just september a few months ago. when i was small, weeks seemed like months and months seemed liked years.
im glad, only three more months til im off probation and can go wreak havoc upon the city once again instead os staying on the computer being lazy.
a rapper like 50ยข...
No,,,J/K,,, I wanted to be a real singer musician...
When I was 3-6 I wanted to be a veternarian. Then I wanted to be an assassin. Now I have no ambitions.
a burnout.... i wish i was jokin but i really am not.. hahaha.. when i was little i just liked the idea of bummin around all day doin nothin..
what can i say, im livin my fantasy :D
A bus driver, a firefighter, a cop were all things I wanted to be when I was little. I changed my mind a lot and still do. I will prob end up being a technical writer making about 60K a year starting out. Dallas is in desperate need from what I understand.
An artist.
The sad thing is, like many of you, I didnt inspire to be anything either when I grew up... The fact my parents had some 'money' made it worse cause never even had a 'drive' to even work for the longest time... I spent my HS years skipping class and hanging out with friends and girls and my 2 yrs in college being more focused on getting laid then studying...
Now that I'm 28yrs I see soo many things I would do different now had I had the chance to start over and wake-up tomorrow a Freshman in High School... I dont know, I guess if I could do things over again I would have liked to have went into medicine... But now, my ambitions is just to get into a $25 - $30 an hour tech job and just try and enjoy the rest of my life ahead of me.
ya sameQuote:

Im working as a marine engineering manager, we dont only do mechanical engineering though, we build all of our boats from scratch, fit them out, do all the engineering, electrics, water, heaters, the lot.
The biggest we have at the boat yard is only small in reality, its 48 ft, but we only do hire boats.
During the winter when people dont want holidays on the river we take on private work and do repairs and servicing on them.
The pay is good, very good, i mean, i get enough to pay all my bills, get everything i need to live comfortably and i can still get weed with the money left over.
Im lucky though, i havnt got any qualifications because i left school 2 years before any final exams or anything.
If i can find the thread it'll explain it a bit more [it's a long read thuogh lol]
i dont mind reading :D
a hitman lmao.
I wanted to be a professional footballer. Then I wanted to be a scientist. Then I wanted to do something related to penguins. Now I'm thinking of going more along the scientific route, and want to be a pharmacist.

Anyway, I always wanted to be a professional basketball player in the NBA. This quickly faded when the freshman bball coach at my high school told us that none of us would ever play at that level LOL. He was right. But I also wanted to play football...or become a music producer or work with Hollywood in any way. We'll see.
I wanted to be like a million different things. Now I want to become a nurse, and help people heal.
When I was small, I wanted to be a model and wear designer clothes and have my picture in magazines. But I guess I went to the bathroom when they were handing out height, and realized I'm not tall enought to be a model. So then I wanted to be a veterinarian, then a doctor, but didn't want to be in school for forever and a day. So now I gonna be a nurse.
Cheers mate, i tried almost all night and couldnt find it for shit LOL. Nice one!Quote:

stressfull sometimes but a good exscuse to light up a big fat one.
I wanted to be a doctor, mostly. But I also wanted to be a teacher, a dancer, a police detective or private eye (these were TV-motivated ambitions), or a pet-store owner. Oh! And a big ambition for me as a little girl was to be a bride and get to wear a white dress and a veil.
when i was little i wanted to be a sniper for the military but have my own missions and be my own boss and watnot hahah.....now, i wouldnt ever want 2 hurt another human being, especially with a huge gun
I wanted to be a long haired drug addict hippie because my father was a cop and I did not like him too much at the time.
So I became that long haired hippie drug addict loser and found that it really was not all they said it would be. Now I am a short haired pot head biker and I don't give a fuck.
When I was 5, I wanted to dig graves.
I must've been a sick little child. lmao.
i wanted to be a life flight pilot. i had it all planned out, i was going to join the Army to be a helicopter pilot. i was going to do that for twenty years, retire on the govt's dime and fly my chopper all day. then my vision went to shit and i got arrested....
i was fascinated with the garbage collector
and i just wanted to be a cashier....nothing fancy..i would unplug my phone and take all my books off my bookshelves and pretend someone was buying them, and use my phone to press in the numbers....i was fascinated with cashiers, what can i say...
