How long have you been toking and how long do your highs last?

I've been toking for 1 year and only recently in the past few weeks have I been smoking 2-4 times a week. Before that it was once a month, or twice a month.

Anyways, the point of this thread is to say that during that time, I haven't been getting as high as the beginning. Like before a .5 of dank had me on my ass, now it's as if I'm stoned, but not stoned enough and I need to smoke more. Before, my highs lasted around 2-4 hours, now it's like 30 minutes to maybe 1 hour.

Tolerance I guess.

hmm ive been smoking for five years and i smoke on a daily basis.. several times (5-10 depending on how much we have). my relatives deal so its pretty cool.

although my tolerance is sky high and i hate it. i definitely dont get the same high as i used to unless ive been smoking all day or its really good shit.

ive been smoking for about 7 years now and i say how long my high last depends on the kind of tree i have really. i usually buy mids because i dont make a whole lot of money and i smoke like 3 grams a day. and regardless of the quality of the bud, i smoke the same amount because im a very habitual person, so my highs can last from 45 minutes to half a day if the buds good enough.

2 years, almost daily, when i was a n00b it would take the tinniest bit to knock me on my ass, now, not so much. it takes at least 2 bowls to get me buzzed

Ive been token for about 8 -9 years now and my highs last anywhere from 6 to 8 hours I smoked nothing but the best weed and all I do is smoke anywhere from smoking fatty joints and blunts to pullin tubes which is what I mainly and my bubbler

I've been a toker for about a year now but I've smoked quite a bit. My highs last about 30 min - 60 min, unless it's honey oil or something then like 4 hours, but that's really rare around here.

Toking for 2 years, highs with mids last around2-3 hours, with good stuff, it's 4, although at New Years, I DID have only 4 drags on a joint and was blazed.

That might have to do with the 7 shots of peppermint schnapps, though...

When i started, it was
1/2 a blunt at 6pm
1/2 a blunt at 9pm
a joint at 12midnight

Now its
Bowl when I wake up
Bowl before i eat dinner
6 bowls between 6pm-12midnight

Toking for 3 years pretty much everyday. It still only takes 0.3 to get me high for 2 hours.

2 years every day, bout .5 for a strong strong buzz for 45 mins. i dont understand these people on this site "oh man i was geeked out for 7 hours auditory hallucinations and colors everywhere it was crazy" its like a really realyl strong long lasting healthier ciggarette for me. used to ease my mind. i gotta take like a 2 week break if i wanna get really lifted again... but in the past few months ive been doin that often

30-60 min!? man that sucks, that must mean you have to blaze waaay more

I've been tokin daily for about 3 yrs, and at first, it took only a small amount to get high, but after awhile, my tolerance went up and it took me at least 3 joints in a row to get stoned. For the last 6 months though, I have been using cannabis is moderation and I'm pleased to say it takes me about 5 bong rips to get ripped. It lasts for hours too. I prefer to let the high completly wear off before tokin again, otherwise I get sleepy and drousy. I don't like ebing that high, just high enough. :smokin:

Ive been smoking everyday several times a day for 3 years, weed is cheap where I live so there is no problem with the money. As for the duration of the high, I'd have to say two bowls keep me high for around an hour or an hour and a half. My tolerance is extremely high so I might do something about that and lower my dose significantly for a week or two and not smoke at all, that is still in question tho:jointsmile:

i smoke once or twice a day, and migh average 30 minutes to two hours depending on the strain and how much i smoke. i usually average about an hour of highness. way back when i started smoking (about 3 or 4 years ago) i would get couched for up to four hours. i miss that.

Hmm, I've been smoking for about 13 years now... I smoke every day, several times a day, and I always get high after about a bowl. :)

i smoke everyday (apart from when i run outa money) and im high for about half an hour, smoked the last of my weed today tho and i think im gonna have a weeks break so when i smoke again ill be blitzed out my mind :jointsmile:

I've been toking for 22 years now. The lengths of my highs vary according to each strain and type. For example, last night I had the rare pleasure of smoking some HP13....I woke up high this morning...lol...Peace.

I started when I was 16, I'm 21 now.
my highs when i first used to do it/started it lasted from 2-3 hours with residual fading effects..it slowly decreased and I began to need more to get the same feeling, eventually the trip-like feeling of the first smoke was never there and the high time cut back to one hour..but seemed to stay at one hour as the least amount of time the high would last..even if i took half a hit..of not so great stuff at that...it would linger about an hour until i felt sober again.

First smoked a J just over 10 years ago. Puffed here and there throughout the next few years, but started smoking daily 8 years ago. Haven't stopped more than a week or so since. My actualy high (initial buzz) or peak lasts for maybe the 1st 2-3 mins or so and the rest of the high eases up for the next half hour to hour. The inital high is the only time I still get a little paranoid, or wobly feeling. After that I'm fine though. I might have a little buzz that stays with me the next hour or so, but I feel fine and can function with ease.

daily for about 2 years smoking for about 4 years. takes me about a .5 joint to feel nice and stoned.

that good huh? i've heard about the stuff, i might need to pick some up. i only smoke dank (right grand daddy purple seems to be the thing), but would like to give that stuff a shot.

Going on 17 years now...and about 10 years as a daily user. Recently shifted to vaporizing for health reasons. I recommend it to everyone, although it's not for everyone - some folks don't care for it as much. But I can vape about 1/3 gram or less in the morning and stay high (4 hrs) until I smoke a bowl of vaped stuff and that gets me through until drive time home, when I smoke another bowl to hold me over until I vape again at home. Then again before bedtime. About 1 gram per day to keep me going all day, although I naturally want more and sometime must oblige.

dude thats how i smoke now too

i have a little bowl where i can pack 2 bowls(maybe using .2-.3) and i got a good buzz going, dont normally pack more than 3 though.

my highs last like an hour to an hour and a half, the burnout will last a few more hrs though.

which vaporizer are you using? i have a volcano and love the taste of the herb. much better than smoking in my humble opinion.

about 8 months and if I just get buzzed, maybe an hour or two. If I get baked, about 4, but I usually end up falling asleep before I'm sober.
