looking nice, keep up the good work! some plants seem to be streaching a bit. did you start to flower them or could your light be a bit too high?
Light was a bit high.. Right now using a 125w Compact fluoro with day bulb..
It was hanging about 5 or 6 inches from the smaller plants..
So I used some old encyclopedias to raise them a bit more.. now there all about 2" away. Thanks for your support and information. Keep a look if you really like to give information, I always appreciate it
Hey I got some more, there a little better.. I left the fan on in those, its off in this one.. these were taking today, do they seem to be growing slow? I dont know if they are or not..
I also shift them around in the area and turn them everyday..
I think it helps..
As well, the third pic, I dont know if you can see it, but the leaves are slowly starting to lose a little chlorfill, it looks like it anyway, after I get them out of the fluroescent lighting you cant really see it, am I parinoid or can anyone else see?
suggestions?
Thanks..
Where is everyone once again?
Help. lol
*The leaves on the plant in the third picture are starting to burn around the edges, can anyone suggest what might be wrong?
Not heat, because the temps steady around 80
Thanks
Could be your ferts, try backing off on them when you water. They're looking fantastic otherwise, how long do you plan to veg before switching over to flowering?
I kind of wanted them to get at least foot1/2 - 2feet.. Considering I have the room, I was always told that they do better the bigger they get.. but if they were about 2ft when I switched to 12 12, then by the time they were done they'd be.. around.. 4ft Im thinking..
Sound good?
i would agree with loner; watch the ferts very closly because burnt leaf tips is a sighn of overfertalization. i always say, "it's easier to fix underfertalization than overfertalization." imo you should flower then closer to 1/2' than 2' because your plants will get very bushy from the looks of them and your space may get crowded and block the smaller plants from getting enough light.
Good point.. Im not to concerned with this grow, because Ive already had early problems with heat.. small containers, and such..
Last time I watered was the 19th, The soil is still a little damp.. so Im still waiting until its at least dry to the touch about 2 inches down.
Plan to use plain, distilled water I let set open in my grow area for a couple days to assure the chlorine evaporates.
Also, the leaves are just slowly like getting worse.. do you think I should flush the soil when I do water?
If so how much water? (5 Gal buckets)
Thanks
Heres some pictures, it looks a lot worse off the camera
try flushing, looks like fert burn.
The 125w fluro is not much light for that many plants.
Consider that a 400w hps really effectively penetrates 2 feet, i would turn those plnats now.
If you turn them at 2ft tall, the leaves lower down which are doing all the energy collection for the flowers wont be receiving light of any intensity and there'll be wasted time in grow.
Im trying a 130w daylight fluro now for the first time. im in a box about half the size of yours, if not a quarter. i've got 2 plants and will turn them at about 6 inches. theyre only 2 inches now.
water so you have 10% of the volume you put in come out the bottom. flush with ph adjusted fresh every 1-2weeks.
i dont ph adjust anymore but it can help.
the light colour is typical of lower intesnity globes i reckon. im gonna start foliar feeding mine silica once a week. magic that stuff. :)
I would get a gallon or two of bottled water and skip whatever nutes youâ??re using. What are you using btw? I used bottled water & 1-2 teaspoons of fish emulsion per gallon for the first few weeks of veg.. From what I remember the sunshine burns off chlorine the best..Used to use a few clear plastic jugs and leave them outside to bake in the sun with the caps off for a few days. When the plants became a few weeks old I switched to ...Quote:

well, I gave them over a liter two days ago, I had to leave a couple days, so I didnt get any information from you guys.. I took some pictures just now, and my biggest plant is my favorite.. Its not having nearly as many problems as the others.
the one that looks like a bundle of leaves grow together is where they were pinned to allow light on the other side..
I think the other two are just going downhill
I was using Seabird Guano from insidesun.com 11-13-3
Recommended was up to 3 tablespoons for fast growing container plants so I used only one tbs per gallon, or maybe two, but thats where I fucked up?
to much at once Im thinking..
Well, I want to switch to flowering about the time I get done with my new box idea.. simple to build and will only take me maybe a day once I get the stuff.. but does anyone suggest I change now?
Thanks for the help and replys
Your plants look great! Man, seems like yesterday that they were only tiny little things.
Seems like there suffer quite a bit. Im not exactly sure what could be the problem.. I didnt rather flush, but I did water heardy with plain, bottled water.
So Im not sure if it would be fert burn.
Im really thinking its underfertilization, because of the way the leaves are looking.
Dont really know though, need some advice.
Thanks
