when i smoke some kind bud, usually indica dominant i will sometimes have pretty psychadelic experiences like for instance see colorful patterns or lose my perception of how large like my appendages are, like think my hands are huge, or think that they are in a different place than they really are...really weird stuff, but yeah i was curious how common this is off of smoking some potent weed?
sounds more like a trippy sativa to me
well it can happen off either to me, but my buddy feels like it weighs like a million pounds and i cant really move ya know, but most of my weed is probably a pretty even mix sativa indica
yeah so i know what you mean. I mix charas with bud all the time and get trippy stoned, a body lock and a head rush together :D
to me, enough of any strain can produce a psychedelic experience.....although a lot of a pure indica strain can make me tired as well....but an energy drink helps that
I'm tripping on some trippy sativa...
i get audatory halucinations from weed all the time... and some times visuals
i think people who say they have tripped off weed have no idea what a real trip is, or what hallucinating is, or what hearing things is. that is my two cents
agree with above post, i mean no matter how much i have smoked i never "trip"
smoking enough good weed can make a person feel like they're tripping. after awhile that goes away though...
It is known that some of the most intense buds can give you feelings similar to shrooms.....but that really doesn't include the major hallucinations part.
I agree there are way more trippy drugs out there...
But I have had auditory hallucinations and closed eye visuals...
and although I have not actually visually hallucinated shit, if I smoke some good bud things appears REALLY different to me....So it's sorta trippy...but not really tripping....
But as far as auditory hallucinatons go I get a few of those...last night I was smoking some heavy bud...and I started hearing like the drums and flutes from old battles....
And for a real short period of time I had a deep anxious feeling that I was gonna get killed by a huge army.

The effects of Marijuana should not be underestimated....it's a drug...that does have powerful effects on the body and mind.....

I have definatly halucinated from weed before. It has only happened like three to four times, and it usually isint anything major.
I know I keep running my mouth on here.....

So you could imagine some of the possibilities of smoking a lot of really dank buds.
But IMO still not completely hallucinating....but psychadelic experience?...yes.
Rarely have I found myself anywhere near 'tripping out' while smoking ganja. Back in my early days I would get a radical change in perception of the world ever so often. Everything seemed completely and utterly different, in the most beautiful of ways. It's difficult to explain, but someone with a decent amount of experience should understand where I'm coming from.
If I smoke a heavy amount of sativa I'm able to control my 'watered down trips'. Closed eye visuals are pretty easy to generate. If I'm in a dark room all by myself listening to some music, I'll close my eyes and imagine whatever pops into my head. Colors will begin to clash and the music will spiral into my vision; it's quite fun. And if I'm really, really high I'm able to make myself feel as though I'm floating...let me tell you, it feels so real. But again, I usually have to be by myself, in the dark, listening to music.
If any of you are looking for a sub-surreal trip of sorts, I highly recommend mixing bud with salvia. That is if you've already experienced a salvia trip before. I don't know about you guys, but salvia+weed=a wild ride.

further more whats wrong with being a lightweight... I wish I was one, I envy them, they spend way less money on bud ... i never understood why people would insult you for being one... its not logical, not to mention weeds supposed to be a peaceful plant, we should all be accepting of each other... were all on the same side in this war!

Nobody is the same and no trip is the same... its a completly different experience from weed, really somthing you'd have to try, no one can really explain it to you... just be sure you do it in a safe place with good freinds that you would trust your life with, most psychadelics arn't acctually atall physically harmful to your body but they can fuck with your mind and make you make bad desicions while your on them!
i didnt say anything about what is and isnt psychadelic. but comparing someting people say they see on weed to acid is like comparing my basketball skills to michael jordans. yes we can both put the ball in the hoop, but he is a lot more effective
using the quid method with salvia produces visuals similar to those i experience off of weed....... when i smoke salvia i just get thrust into a different dimension, the visuals are very similar to when i smoked some dank :hippy:Quote:
