Any of yall ever just wanna get the fuck out of whatever town you're in and just start over new somewhere else? You think you have friends that you can confide in, but at the drop of a hat you find out that somehow, some way they fuckin stab you in the back...telling other people shit that they have no business knowing. You do so much to be a good friend but they don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves. I can't wait to start school in the fall, get my degree and leave this sorry ass place.

Yeah, I often fantasize about that. Leaving all the shit I have to deal with here and starting anew in a distant location, taking up a new identity, starting over with a clean slate. If I had the money I'd do it, but unfortunately I'm a measly dollar store employee.

yeh man, i have a couple like you described, but must of my freinds (like 8 good freinds) are true freinds. i have a couple that are just weed fiends and will dip out on you just to smoke weed with who ever has it

sometimes the people you know are too busy impressing others
not easy finding a good trustworthy friend
so if you got a friend that's never fucked you over
keep em' close (not in a gay way) but you know what i mean

I didn't want to, but I did. Left my small hometown where everyone knows everyone and moved to FL to find a better job for myself and my wife. We did just that but now that we're gone, I understand just how great a place it really was. Now I can't wait to move along in the comp and move back home and do the job there.

EXACTLY! They try to impress people that don't even give a flying fuck about them. One of the people I'm talking about I thought was my true friend...guess I thought wrong. Happy New Years everyone.

I've wanted to get the fuck out for a while, but my parents are finally giving me so much more freedom..it's alright now. I can wait until college, I think. heh.

btw, just had like...an epiphany, and it's cool. :D I don't think I can even describe it, but my last mushroom trip fucked with my head and I haven't been quite the same since..and I JUST remembered I had a dream last night where I was alright and could trip again, and as soon as I remembered that I felt sort of different..I almost want to do them tonight. :)

too many time ive wanted to wish myself out of here, but then i realized what makes me want to leave, that one person who i cant get away from, who will always be there for the rest of my life. i just ignore him, and await the day i can leave for good

I love the snow.....

It snowed 34 inches at my house one week then i got 14 inches the next week.......4 feet of snow in a week....OMG

the streets are like 4 wheel drive roads.

My driveway is like a tunnel

I have a sled hill in my front yard

I have been driving my ATV around the streets....like it belongs there

I have my broken branches in my yard from the treees falling from the weight of the snow.


I hear in SE colorado....the only way to get around is with a front end loader.....

lol 2 years ago i did exactly this, had a slight fall out with my friends and with my mum wanting to move anyway i thought fuck it told her i would be up for it (me not wanting to move was the only reason we had stayed) and we packed up and moved..

big part of my life :)

it was only like 60 miles away but to a place where people didnt know me and i didnt have a rep to live up to.

i can't wait to get the fuck out of iowa, mainly because there are so many small minded ignorant people here. i have pretty good friends here and everything, but i feel like i want to start somewhere new with my woman and my dog here in a couple years.

a lot of times people move only to find out they are the problem...

I'm sure I'll move away from my hometown eventually, but to be honest, right now, I have a lot of good friends at home (or near home), so it wouldn't make sense to pack up and leave a big part of what makes me happy.

I suppose I'll have to say a fair amount of goodbye's some day, but not yet. After college, maybe. If I knew my plans after college, life wouldn't seem like the typical "clean slate" I look forward to writing on.

Mario is me. Sad thing is this fine man is sitting in the hospital right now suffering from a botched surgery. We are both, 'manly men'. We weld, work on 4x4s, drink beer, and ride motorcycles. But we have an 'understanding' that is rare and is not developed overnight, but rather it has taken us 12 years and has spanned hundreds of miles. That is not to say that we haven't been rosey, we have fought and sometimes i felt like setting fire to his truck....but we still have that understanding.

Remember guys, sometimes you have to clarify things and say things that need to be said in your man-relations. Thats how you build those true friends. Just cause Earl likes to drink all of your beer and watch the game on your plasma, doesn't mean you can lend him 1000.00. Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies. My 'friends that i would help move bodies' list is very short.

I have lived in many places, that i could have stayed. Many areas in my state, many states, and 3 countries. The reason i like moving i believe is different from a lot stated here. I'm never running from anything, just seeking experiences. I can live life in one way forever or you can move and adjust. I really feel like this has help me become more of a more well rounded person then what i would have been just 'kickin it on da block'

Once you made it several times over, in many different situations, you know you can make it anywhere.

The kind of crummy thing about it, i havent made too many super close friends, although i've made a lot of life long ones. But this is the path that i enjoy, and will keep this lifestyle up until i get into a situation where i feel i should stay.

All i have to do is get this damn degree and i just started. (already starting to look at other colleges in different places that i could realistically attend next year)

Well I have made some progress....

A couple guys I have known for a while asked me to move in with them and so far it's been a blast. I think I just needed some time apart from the people that have been pissing me off/taking my friendship for granted. I haven't been this happy in a while. Work is going good, getting along great with the new roommates and I can't complain living in a 3 bedroom house with no one to tell me what to do. :D
