I can't imagine how it would affect your personal stash but I have to ask more experienced MJ enthusiasts like yourselves. Does it affect your stash if you grind say an ounce and leave it in a mason jar and pick from it? Anybody else do this?

its pretty stupid. why grind a nice bud unless you are going to smoke it. but if you have a crystal catcher grinder and wana smoke a shit load of crystal go for it
Just looking for convenience I guess. I would just like to pinch a bit roll it or pack it and smoke it.
lets it dry out easier... i keep my weed in buds until i need to use them.. but i don't soley use joints/blunts either.... mainly i use pipes/bongs, and grinded weed ina bong/pipe burns up too fast..
All I've heard is if you want to put it in blunts or joints, you should grind it up and let it dry more.
dry weed, is the hardest weed to roll, it also burns faster...Quote:

I break up enough to last me for the day. That way its still got the convenience but iv still got my pretty lil nugs to look at :D like wake up in the mornin, grind what you're gonna smoke threw out the day and just keep the rest of my skunk at home

Short answer no. No reason *unless you wanna try to extract a bunch of pollen* to break up your stash.
Nugs are pretty.
I buy all my stuff in big buds, like whole colas. I take what i need for the day, grind it up, bag it up and then i just dip into it during the day, saves time.
I dont see what harm it could do to gind it all up and then save it, or pick from it every now and agian. I guess it's easier and quicker.
But if you get large amounts and then grind em up and collect the kief, you can make a nice bit of hash aswell, then you can choose what to smoke. Green or solid.
I only grind in advance when I can't carry a grinder. For example if I'm going to a gig or something I'll grind up a benz in a baggie with some baccy for convenince. If the'yre not searching I'll skin up b4 and put 3 little spliffs in a cigar holder.
I used to use a metal cigar tube to carry my joints but now if im out and about i use a glasses case lol. I normally roll it as i go though, just before i want to smoke it. The dash on my van is perfect for rolling, it's like a little rolling matt..Quote:

Yea i always keep my stuff in buds till' it's time to roll it.
and i always used to grind with my hands
wether sticky bud or not i always used my hands
and it came out pretty well too cuz i'm precise with things usually
but with the grinder it's faster and breaks it up to pretty much a dust
but that's a manual grinder, coffee grinders are amazing lol
