I'm curious as to what percentage of people have used the different methods of taking cannabis.
Failed attempts DON'T count, like food that didn't work or a makeshift vaporizer that didn't work. AND make sure to choose as many options as applicable to you.

what do you mean by

do you mean like some sort of cannabis tincture?
wtf is "under the tongue"? do you just simply put a nug under your tongue and let it marinate for awhile or what?
I figured joint/pipe give all about the same high.

Under the tongue (sublingual) is one method of administration of different drugs.
You can buy or make tinctures with ethanol. By holding the liquid under the tongue, the THC and other cannabinoids enter the bloodstream faster and more efficiently than going through the digestive tract. The high may last longer than smoking, but shorter than eating. It can take an hour or more to feel effects from eating, as opposed to maybe 15 minutes for the tincture.

There is a recipe for the tincture (infamously known as "Green Dragon") in the recipe section of this site. This is the quick method for those that don't want to wait for weeks/months for the tincture to mature like a fine wine.

But be careful. If you use 151/190 proof alcohol it will burn your mouth. Dilute it! The tincture can also be put in drinks and consumed, but then you experience the normal effects of eating.
Your supposed to put green dragon under your tongue? I thought you just drank it, I consider green dragon along the lines of "Oral consumption" of cannabis, like eating.
You can do either, there is a note in the directions about putting it under your tongue, but all it says is that it is too strong.
Probably most people don't want to bother holding something in their mouth for 15 minutes.
If it goes through your digestion, it is thought that the liver filters out some cannabinoids and also may change THC into a stronger/different form of THC. So sublingual is a different effect, maybe like vaporizing.
Well you don't have blunts or joints so the only option I can pick is pipe :).

That's interesting how exactly 1/2 as many people have eaten compared to smoking.
It's because no one sells brownies and such. It's pretty different, more stoned feeling, more intense. The whole under the tongue thing is just kinda wierd.
My mum won't let me cook firecrackers in my oven coz it will smell =/

i smoke my weed out of blunts that way i can french inhale. thats when you fill your mouth up with smoke and take it through your nose. man that shit will get you so high. escpecially if you get as good as i am with it. cause most people will only have a little stream of smoke when they try it. but my friends and i got good enough to have a big ass cloud of smoke. just make sure you are inside a house or car and breath in slowly threw your nose. and make sure you "push" the smoke out of your mouth. when you first start trying it you might not know what im talking about, but practice makes perfect. also you have to be smoking blunts to do this because you cant fill your mouth up when hitting a bowl or shit like that.

Stone or glass pipes were my preference in the past, but now it's bongs. One thing I tend ot be particular about is water - I prefer bottled as it seems to create less harsh smoke than city water.
ive done it all, i can still honistly come back to my 20 dollar bowl and just enjoy....

bongs EAT weed, like, i packed 3 bowls and measured it out, and that came out to like, 6 bong hits, i was WTF waste, not even blazed yet

I know an english guy I work with that makes tea out of his weed lol freakin wanker! lol
let me guess, you put grinded weed into the bowl, either that or you like basicsly dropped a couple of small nugs into the bowl, and didn't even 'pack' them.. i've never had weed burn up like that, in any bowl, bong pipe or even gas mask (and trust me, gas maks will eat through weed like nothing else you've ever contemplated making)Quote:
