Is there any type of grow factors taht can trigger purple leaves/buds (ie foods, climate, etc) or is it just genetics? Ive heard many different things, just wondering if anyone on here knows the facts. Adios.

there are things outside of genetics that can cause purple leaves/buds, yes.
if you bring the temps down leaves can turn purple on almost wvery strain, it happens in any kind of plants i can notice various kinds of plants (not only cannabis) having purple hues on the really cold days.
Some strains r genetically purple (purple buds) that always grow like that or have purple phenotypes

hmm alright thanks for the help guys
its also a sign of having some nute uptake problems, could be caused by being rootbound, ph levels, ec, ect..
just know purple doesnt always mean good, my cousin used to deal schwagg that had purple leaves for way more than it was worth... people see purple and start drooling but always judge it by the high before u consider anything else
Ya some dealers put their weed in the freezer which makes the bud turn purple. Probobly make it look nice and crystally too if thats a word. Well after doing that they usually jack up their prices saying its dank just because its purple and people believe them.
