Does being bored make you smoke more?

I want and picked up my paycheck yesterday and it was raining all day. We had just run out of weed the night before so i was thinking about going to pick some up after getting my check. Due to the rain I decided against it since it would have been an hour drive in horrible wheater.

So I got home and stayed there till about 8. Still raining its ass off out side and all that shit. Finally I just got so bored I decided to give my guy a call and go pick up a Q.

I didn't even really feel like smoking until I realized how bored I was and how there was nothing worthwhile to do here.

Anyone else sometimes smoke because there is nothing better to do? I'm stoned about 7 hours every day, so I was kind of looking forward to staying sober all day. Oh well it was worth it. :D

Sorry I just really feel like making a post right now because guess what. I'm bored again...

Weed actually gives me a peacefull solution to boredom. Much better than getting in trouble with the University and Fraternity for smoking a cig outside while a brother shoots out windows in the dorms wtih a b.b. gun... :mad: Granted it was during break, so he didn't think anyone was living in them.

Boredom has gotten me in trouble a lot in the past.

I know exactly what you mean. For about 2 weeks everyone here was dry, and I was the most bored I have ever been in my entire life..

Boredum can kill a sack of weed in no time at all.

Yeah. I always smoke when there is nothing else to do. Makes everything so much more interesting or just less boring. Even staring at the wall.

if i have stuff to do, i don't usually take time to stop and smoke. if i'm just sitting around doing nothing i pack my chillum every hour or so.

cause while the wall isnt doing much, atleast ill have a good buzz going

although if im at home with nothing to do and i got some green, ill smoke it

bored got me through a half ounce in almost 3 days

yes, i smoke when i'm bored, and when i'm not. either way, if i got it, i'm smoking. regardless of if i'm bored or not. but when i'm bored it makes everything a lot less boring (not always true, to be honest--but most of the time).

I smoke the same amount pretty much everyday,,,boredom doesn't play into the amount...
