smoking make u anti social

i have been blazing for about 4 years all through high school and it at first started out as just a social thing then it turned into something i just love doing by myself. i still have a lot of friends but i stopped hanging out with them on the weekdays because i prefer to toke by myself. i save more trees that way. but i will still smoke with people on the weekends but only because i feel like a loser if i spend all week smoking alone. is this sad or what becuase i dont think it is it makes me happy so i dont knoo whats so bad about smoking alone. wow i can ramble on about anything.. sorry im just bored

Not for me, I'm just an anti-social person. I just don't like being around people all the time. My g/f is the only exception. I like about one day a week of social fun, the rest I enjoy by myself.

i love being around my friends and shit.. i like to blaze with friends more then by myself.. altho i really like blazin by myself

I like smoking by myself sometimes, late at night, when I can just listen to music and chill, but I spend time with my friends as well. It's all up to you, some like being alone, and others like smoking with friends. Doesn't make you anti-social, just as long as you're happy :)

I've never been a fan of people either. I somke alone 97.3% of the time. I can be very social if I'm in the right mood, but I'm to moody to be popular so I just end up being awkward. For example, one day I'll feel open and sociable and everyone loves me yay! Then the next day I'm kind of depressed and pretty much blow everyone off. The next day when I'm happy and social, every thinks it's awkward because the day before I was so dark and depressed. Oh well, thats life.

Yeah, I wasn't much of a people-person before I started tokin'.

I'd be the same anti-social person if I didn't smoke weed. I'm not real anti-social, but like JaggedEdge said, I can do with 1 fun day a week then I just wanna chill at home. I don't even go out once a week though, I got no one to hang out with. I'm more of a loner than I'd like to be.

I in general find people to be to caught up in their own lives to care about the way people feel. I usually smoke with by best friend because we are like brothers so i would just assume if i got weed half would be his, half would be mine. It works out better that way because we don't run out to often doing that. I like being social with people if i can tell that they are just looking for a good time and are not going to make fun of me or be all negitive. i think by you starting this post you are showing that you are social because your looking to talk to people right now. I think that getting high is so much easier when you don't have to work around other peoples time and just say " im smoking right now and then only doing what i really what to do." i think the reason that weed makes you anti-social is the fact that most people do not want to be around weed and will call the cops if they see you so i find myself hiding somewhere whenever i smoke.

I prefer smoking by myself for a couple reasons. In England, practically everyone, besides me, adores joints mixed with tobacco. Personally, i detest them. I like to smoke by myself coz i only smoke out of my bong. Another reason is that i conserve a lot more weed this way. I don't have the money to be smoking everyone up or putting into a plethora of joints. I like smoking by myself because i'm in control, i can do what i please, there is no hassle, only happiness. Friendship is important aswell, it's just a balancing act.

I enjoy smokin with my boys or just by myself. If anything though I would consider smoking with others even more of a "loser" thing (if you consider it a loser thing at all).. just because when you are smoking in a group its usually because you really dont have anything better to do and sometimes it becomes all you'll do with certain people. If your worried about bein thought of as a loser for smokin by yourself just dont tell nobody about it, who needs to know?

I definetly don't beleive that. Were im from its basically the "in" crowd that smokes.. Thats basically becuase everyone smokes... From the football team at school to the asains, to the indians, everyone does it. I don't really tell alot of people i smoke, you never know who can find out.

When I first started smoking it was strictly a social event. Now than I'm older I am smoking more solo. Getting high with good friends is the best but their are times when taking a few hits solo is theraputic. Moments of solitude allow you to reflect on the day.

I really like smoking with a really close friend than alone. I also like big groups too but they have to be good friends.

i don't care if i'm smoking wtih someone or not... it makes it more intresting usually, if someone else is there getting high with you, but i have absolutely no problem lighting up alone either... i've been a loner most of my life, so that might play a factor in it as well... infact, i've never had so many friends in my life (at one time) i couldn't count them on one hand... i'm very selective with my 'friends'.

Smoking alone is great and all but I LOVE getting baked and walking around the campus just talking to whoever. I get really really talkative when I toke up and just dig the whole social scene. I can talk to just about anybody stoned, and I'm usually very shy when I'm sober. Mabye thats why I'm attracted to smoking.

Im usually quiet and secluded to my group when I'm sober, but when I'm high, ohhh man. I go up to random people and start talking, get all interested in their boring stories. Its great.

I dunno man, honestly I can't even smoke by my self anymore. For the past 2 days (up until today) i've been saving weed for when I got together with some people because smoking by my self just makes me feel crazy. Probably because I think too much and just need to let my mind flow with people there to remind me that I'm still sane :p. I can say that I noticed a change in my attitude and how better I felt just within 2 days. I smoked half a blunt just now but that'll be my last time smokin until I get together with some people..plus when I'm high I'm more social than normal. So basically it's just the opposite for me lol.

everyone needs alone time, some people just need more than others.

its the same at my school everyone smokes all like 3000 of us but i still just am sick of smoking with all them i enjoy it more by myself i used to only smoke with people and lots of people and it wasnt fun havin like 4 heads on an L

I understand what you mean about saving bud by smoking alone, but toking with others has it's benifits. For pitching a bowl, you could get smoked up two or three bowls in return. Also, social smoking allows the use of other peoples bongs... and it's always nice to hit a new bong.

I came to the conclusion, drinking makes you social and is for parties. Smoking (for me at least), I only do it with people I trust. Maybe it's just in my head because I know weed is illegal.

Man I'm just high reading this and my mind is wandering and I find it funny because I smoke weed so much I honestly forget it's illegal. I remember yesterday I was at the mall and some guy pulled out his cig outside and lit it up. So I pulled out what was left of my blunt and started smokin it before I went in mall and he was lookin at me like I was weird. When I finally got in the mall I realized he was lookin at me like that because I was smokin illegal tobacco lol! I guess it's so peaceful to me and I love it so much and just recently I found my self able to control how much I smoke I guess you do tend to forget it's illegal. Being that there isn't really anything bad enough about it for it to get banned.

I agree dude, I'm just like you...is it really illegal? LOL, that's like the last thing I ever think about with trees, actually with most stuff in life lol. I remember one of my birthdays...nice summer day...there was legit like 10-15 of us walking down the street with a few blunts going...who gives a fuck? Not I, and really noone around here....As long as it isn't affecting or harming anyone else (never is)...legality is last on my mind.

Sun's out right now...maybe I'll take a blunt stroll....and wave to the police that swarm my city as I take a puff.

same with me ... when i am smoking with my friends they spend so much time spending to find a shady ass spot to smoke at i nver care ill light up wherever which i kno is dumb but i have yet to get caught :D

i hate smoking alone, i feel really lame and just feel like i dont have friends i like being high around people and laughing with them

alot of times, ill blaze by myself, then get really really social and call tthe first person that comes to mind, and smoke with them.
it happens alot lately, but smokign alone is still fun :)

Hey, smoking with friends and smoking alone have their advantages;

With friends;

You have a friend to smoke with.
Your as high as the person next to you, no different levels of talk.
Your laughing about the same shit.
When the bowl cherries and your to busy coughing, a friend will keep it going.
Your powers combined make some awesome joints

Alone;

You don't have to share your bud, whats there is all yours.
You can relax a little more by yourself
You can do more thinking high without interuption to your thoughts.
You can smoke as fast or as slow as you want.
You can smoke in the tub without worrying how your friends are gonna fit. (A hot bath+Joint=Bliss)

I have been smoking for a # of years now, and personally I like smoking alone and with friends. Just because you smoke alone does not mean anything is wrong with you. If you tire of going out on the weekends and smoking all the herb with strangers, invite a friend or two over, or better yet, encourage them to bring a diff strain and get togethor for a pow-wow.

Remeber, friends don't let friends cop out halfway through a Joint.
