He smokes ALOT of weed. He also thinks I'm an idiot for knowing about the different strains, indica sativa, etc. etc.
Well onto the main point of this. He is saying that he quit smoking just to try and get with this overly Christian chick who will NEVER go out with him because she is wrapped around her dad's finger.
Is it right that he is lying about his habit to get with a chick? Am I the only one who sees something wrong here?

The best thing you can do is be SUPPORTIVE of your friend. Whether you like the girl or not, be supportive. If you feel a certain way about her and feel like you need to tell him, do so, but let your friend know you got his back no matter what. I speak from experience, a great deal of experience, that bros before hoes is a motto to live by. When things fall through w/ that chick, if you were a dick you are out one best friend...that may be something you regret for life.
I'm fifteen so I don't have much room to talk, but I've been told that I'm living 5 years ahead of my time.
If theres one thing I've learned its this, at 14, its not worth altering ones life completly for a girl. Not only that, but it sounds like your friend is being a bit of a douche in the process.
Make sure he realises that if he has to quit for this girl, then shes probably not worth his time. You don't want him hurt, and with wasted time not smoking, do you?
