some yellowing but no burn ? lok out or a deff.?

latewood , weedhound , bluebear zandor etc...
when i started the 4 girlz that are in the farms the were 2 leftover sprouts , they were feminised so i didn't wanna just pitch em . they're in 2 gal. pots 40% pro mix , 40% pearlite , 15% hydroton , and 5% worm castings . they have been feed the same nutes as the waterfarms at full strength once every third watering , ph'd water in between . they're under 2000w. hps as are the waterfarms .

we just started the 4th. week of flowering and the dirt girlz are yellowing . i looked at greenmans plant abuse page and the leaves resemble = natural use of N during flowering . or phos. build up in soil . they have gotten no N since the 2nd. week of flower as i inadvertently used latewoods recipe of g/h 3pt. plus a lil cal-mag plus and just a tiny bit of cool bloom .

the hydro girlz have none of the yellowing like the soiless mix girls .
should i run like 4 gallons of ph'd water thru em to flush em first and check the ph of the run off ?

XC, that looks like a simple and classic N def.
You could even try foliar-feeding just the lower leaves with a grow nute... or just feed with grow fert once or twice to slow it down. You're far along into flower so it's not a huge deal but if you can stave it off from getting worse for the next 2 weeks it would be great.

I'm not familiar with lw's formula as far as actually using it....yet...plan to try it soon but I know Stinky knows the score...my hydro plants never yellow in flowering even with a week of flush and plain water although when I grew in soil (poorly) they did...

theres 2 like it . this 1 is nycd/c.c. x sage , the other is a d/p blueberry mutant that belongs in your freak thread . every set of leaves on her is curled up n crunched looking , at first i thought mrs. crispi gave the seed halves a lil help falling off when it germed , but every set of leaves is crazy ,
2 heads on it's own n just 2 or 3 wicked looking nugz on it .

neither of the dirty girlz have been topped or seen any stress like the w/f girlz n being beheaded n all . dirt is prob. 2 weeks further along easily due to the buckets becoming 8-10 headed mutants . i want to be puffing on the dirty girlz while waiting for the w/f girlz' party to finish .

every dirt grow i have ever done in the 10 yrs. that i had my head stuck in the dirt 50% of the leaves end up dead n gone and the remaining ones end up yellow by the time the're done flowering ? just doesn't happen when the partys in the water . always mean n green .

that's what I've had so far too..no yellowing. You grew for 10 years in soil? How'd you like that all in all?

that's what my plants look like but mine are worse.... leaves yellowing rapidly. nitrogen deficiency fits the symptoms for sure, but fertilizing my plants doesn't seem to be slowing down the yellowing very much. my pH is fine, so I know it's not a lockout. let me know if fertilizing with N helps yours out.

i flushed each of em w/ 2 gallons of 6.5 ph'd water w 2 tsp. of just g/h grow in it and see how it goes .

10 yrs. of dirt was enuf . i got a mason jar of feminised beans from a neighbor as a kid and used to do 60-100 1 gal. pots sog. or when really lazy a 6ft. kiddie pool just chock full of em . i didn't have the money or the patience to learn much about hydro . i'm hooked on it now .

I can't help, but I find it interesting that on that particular plant, the yellow is located all on one side. Or am I missing more on the other side(s)?

it's happening all the way around i just too the pic. of the worst spot so i was sure everyone got a good shot of it . i woulda added more pics. but i'm still a lil computer retarded n don't know how to shrink pics. on my own . lol .us old dogs n these new trix .

If you want to see a very cool kiddie-pool grow, check out on Marihemp.com there's a user who does flood-and-drain hydro in them... you might have to search... I can't remember his name off hand but he's a member here too... damn my bad memory.
